Well how's the going? First ever grow, plants are flying it although on my biggest plant I've notice the white hairs going brown in the last day or two there is still a good month left so this should not be happening as far as I'm concerned any help, also had to tie these due to height,

Cheers thanks lads it seems to be just on one so was wondering, I've been told not to be misting them now that they have flowers , should autos be that tall one is 140 cm and another is the 120 the others seem normal, like I see the videos on YouTube and they have these big dense plants mine got very long, or is it just genetics? I've a royal dwarf I transplanted at about 2 weeks it completely got stunted got a few half formed leaves then got a mad growth spurt and where it got stunted (I thought it would never grow) it got like 5 or 6 branches and became a way bushier plant its now at what height its ment to be so I'm kinda at a cross roads on wether its genetics or is it the poly tunnel or should I just torture them to get busier plants I know I will get a result in time but want to see what the experts say :-)

You can't really compare one grow to another theres just to many variables. You could grow two seeds of the same pack and have plants look nothing alike. The same way brothers and sisters from the same parents can look nothing alike. Concentrate on keeping them healthy and size and yeild will come with experience. Torturing them is only gonna hurt yield with auto's.

Anything I can do to help bud size I've started to tuck the fan leaves under the smaller buds, they were also trying the flora 3 part series, do they look like they could be done in a month?

to factors in bud size light and bloom boosters - type of light and distance from plant - Flower stage; early middle, late and each stage needs a different "P" and "K" amounts. these two things will greatly increase bud size, ect

Leaf tucking and trimming is debated on this forum everyday. I don't do it personally. As far as bud size keeping them green is all it takes. The less you fool with the better they'll be. I think most people love them to death and create problems by over watering or just killing them with fertilizer. A less is more approach has worked best for me, As far your plant finishing in a month, looks closer to two.

doing leave tucking/bending does not cause stress on plant also as fpr watering - plants do like a 1-2 day dry periods thru growth this also helps in solving the over-watering issue

Yes Harris hawk, I have 2 hawks myself :-) but I do leave them dry for a couple of days you get a good pointy upwards leaf, we are getting very humid conditions here atm and the roof of my poly tunnel is dripping condensation, 2 months left that would be over ten weeks flowering time for an auto would that be considered a super auto then 100+ days? Will it grow in height much more ?

generally auto's take 3 months - your plants will not grow much more, but, hope fully your buds will fatten a bit. If you go to Green House Seeds and go to their grow of each strain they have and in growing they let their plants dry for 7 days !!!! during their growing. Have found that 7 day is a long but a 1-2 day dry period and then feed them, WOW!! they really explode (need to try this)

Is that a soil thing? Cause I find in coco letting them get too dry is no bueno

Yes that's when I noticed they grew most I left them go dry them a good watering they looked abit droopy after it but did they grow, I have peaty soil so I could get away with the 7 days nearly, damn I booked my holidays off at the wrong time so, haha Ohh well, as long as they have bigger buds I don't mind, they got an awful shot of bloom yesterday so see what the week brings :-)

My pistils started browning after one month of actual flowering, at first I thought it was pollination but after thorough inspecting I couldn;t see any bananas anywhere.

Week 9 now and they are brown everywhere.

Grow room temp's has a bearing on dry periods - if room is too hot and poor air exchange one might only be able to go at least one day without watering another benefit is that dry periods help in stopping nutrient over-load and nutrient -lock-out. One need to have some just water days and some dry days for healthy plants

They are in a poly tunnel its always very humid in there, and the roof drips with condensation, I tied them all 2 days ago just to get more light to the lower branches as I had them quiet close together, I must say they look very happy and healthy, while I was tying them I broke one of the main colas reaching over it, I wasn't too happy seen it and just snipped it off, il post a few pictures this evening, but any idea what the outcome of this would be? I think the buds that were in its shadow defo go a little bigger, its about 3ft and 3rd week into flowering I think

No need to snip them off, just tape them back up or just let em be, it's amazing what they can heal from
