Best tasting Strains

I personally love piney smelly strain, or piney fruity or just fruity, as well as diesely petrol type of smell... I do not like anything that has a putrid offensive stink, dirty sox smell, dog shit . I can appreciate them when I grow them but I dont generally grow a strain again if it had a bad smell in the jar, regardless of how it smokes or how high it gets me.

to the OP, I think that the key is to grow a wide diversity of strains to find the smells and tastes you like best, because I have grown a lot of 12/12 from seeds when I first started growing weed and still mostly growing from seeds to this day, it's really worth exploring different palates. I am currently growing strawberry amnesia, can't wait, I m on a strawberry hunt right now, never had weed that smelled or tasted like strawberries...

Had a c99 from PeakseedsBC that tasted like over-ripe strawberries after cure. Only one though but the search is a hoot with this one! For me to pick out a specific taste is difficult so this had to be intense.

Most times I open a jar or bag and am overwhelmed by a strange and intense darkness. It brings a feeling of dejevu but try as I might, ican't put a name to the smell. Maybe sacred musky dankness!

If you don't mind me asking where were your Kali Mist seeds from and what year were they purchased,also how many did you run to find that one?Fems or reg?
My buddy had some Kali Mist around 2000,he loves sativa/haze,it ticked all the boxes for him except in the smell and taste department,he hates weed that smells/taste spicy.

I think I got mine from Serious Seeds. It must have been about 3 years ago. Fems. I got a sweeter pull of my shit. Didn't taste "spicy" at all.

IMHO but taste is subjective to the user, so what you might love someone else may not.

IE: like me, I really: the smell/taste of super skunk#1/OG whatever. if it smells like road kill, I love it. I know I'm weird: when driving and thinking I just ran over the dankest smoke ever.

It seems the "better" tasting strains aren't as potent. Slh is one that's not bad. But it seems my most potent strains have a heavy fuel or skunk funk. I have run strawberry and blueberry crosses and some of the best tasters aren't the most potent. The strawberry amnesia I have run several times. The latest pheno I chopped is very strawberry but not as potent as jet fuel tastes. Where is the best strains for both?

But I have a dog shit pheno! Very good. Nasty taste!

I have a dog shit 3d pheno. Very good. Also a Bog lsd that's a skunks butt smell but great stuff.
