Ah, that was awhile ago. Not looking for sympathy, just kind of fascinated with death and speak about it when it applies.Sorry for your loss, but that's pretty funny.
Same. That's pretty fucking good. My overall ASVAB was high-er-ish. 79. Like, it wasn't the highest, but it's higher than average (50).I had GT 126 my infantry NCOs talked shit about me joining infantry non stop

That situation at the airport was awkward and comically enjoyable at the time. And in that moment I needed a good laugh. Glad I was mostly on the right side of the law with that large shiny bag of mild contraband.
You only need a secret clearance for Airborne units or RTO position. I got a secret clearance after deployment as my platoon's RTO (I was a rifleman during deployment.)But I couldn't get the security clearance for much else cuz of my criminal record

Maybe it was just a local ordinance. I guess it could be similar to digging up protected/endangered wildflowers, that are a limited resource. That pure white sand is beautiful, it's worth protecting heh.Why is sand illegal?

In remote areas everywhere, you'll find that ppl will fill entire dump trucks with sand if they can get away with it.

Do ya'll do any actual mountain training? I know yall were expert mountaineers in ww2
At Jericho. At Drum, we train more for extremely cold weather (it gets, like.. 8 feet of snow from lake effect and the ocean) and it gets, like.. -20, -30. -50 with windchill.Do ya'll do any actual mountain training? I know yall were expert mountaineers in ww2
