Male preflower splitting in Veg growth?

So I have 6 plants of Strawberry OG currently in Veg growth outdoors and one of them shows signs of male preflower with pollen sacs. But the today I saw that the pollen sac had split. Is it normal for a preflower to split in veg growth? Are my females now going to have seeds? Im a little worried. This is my first time growing by the way. But the rest of my plants are looking extremely healthy. I have another 14 Lemon OG Kush about half the size of these hope it didnt ruin those aswell?

Hey Versa, I would destroy them, First I would mist them with water and then cover them with a plastic bag or your good ladies will suffer the same and seed, Unless you want seeds you should get rid of them now before it is to late, I am hoping it isn't. By misting them with water you should be able to stop the pollen from traveling to far and get the bag over them to prevent it for coming off when you move or shake them.
If you choose to keep them you will have to move them a long ways from your ladies.
Only if you really need seeds too, and if you mess with them at all make sure you do not touch the other plants, It take very little pollen to mess up you hole grow.
Hope the best for you Good luck

Thanks for the response. Is it to early for them to be showing these signs? Does this mean my females will be flowering soon? It's only like Mid June thought there would be more time for Veg growth.

I am not really sure why they are showing signs of flowers yet, are they auto flower?
you may have got lucky if you remove the males now, you will hopefully get them out before the pollen gets released. if you don't get them away from your good females they will all seed and you will get very small buds full of seed.
Not sure on your others do you have pic of the ones that are not showing the Male Nanners?
I will attach a Pic of a male and female so you can see the difference.
IMO I would get them away from any females before it is to late, Hopefully it didn't yet.Congrats its a girl.jpg Its a boy !!.jpg

Pre flowers are normal, males that bust open sacks in veg is not uncommon.

IMO do NOT pull the females. If any preflowers or calyxes have been pollinated, ONLY THOSE will produce seeds. Even through veg they will produce seeds and still allow you to flower the girl as you would have normal, only bonus you have a small seed run underneath at those nodes with the pollinated calyxes.

So out of the 6 there are only 2 males that I can tell that have pollen sacs. I just removed them from the garden. Out of the two males I have looked over both multiple times and only 1 sac out of the two plants have burst. The sac was also on the far end facing away from all females so im hoping they will be fine.

Female on left
Male on right
They are not auto flower or atleast i dont think they are I got them out of Bud that had seeds in them. Next time i grow im purchasing Feminized seeds i just wanted to try normal seeds my first time. I just removed 2 males from the garden and only one sac opened and it was facing away from all the females so I think ill be fine. The others either show female pre flower or dont show anything at all so ill keep a close eye on the rest to see if any other males pop up. Here is a picture of that they are showing

I don't believe I said anything about pulling the females, I stated as above get them males away from your ladies.
I have been doing this for a very long time in a big room actually two big rooms for veg and my budding ladies, I never had a plant show male pollen sacks in my veg room Only in my bud chamber about 7 to 14 days into bud.(but it is not unheard of at all)
that is why I asked if you have auto flower. they will do that, Stress can also cause it.
Trust me get them away from your females. That;s is not my opinion that is a fact Pollen can get on your hands, tools. what ever it can and it will get on your budding plants ,and once they start to seed your ladies all the energy goes into producing Seed.

Good Luck Keep Me posted......

I did not pull and females. I only pulled the two males that had clear pollen sacs being formed. Maybe they are auto flower and i just don't know it. Do the rest of the pictures look fine to you?

True, but only for those calyxes that are pollinated. If only the preflower at the node is pollinated, that calyx will go to seed and the plant may still be bloomed as normal in a 12/12 etc light cycle. I too have been making seeds with vegging plants for a long long time.

If one part of my plant has seeds im not going to be too worried. The rest should be fine then. Appreciate the help!

Just think of it as a nice little bonus. The seeds, if any, will most likely be finished long before the buds are finished. A pollinated calyx here and there will not pull much attention from full on flowering tops.

First time it happened to me a light came on... micro seed runs without sending the whole thing to flower? Excellent!
