Hi,

I spoke with our DHL rep - it is being held for duties/taxes. If you contact DHL Canada at 800-225-5345 they can assist in collecting the duties and releasing your package. Unfortunately, there is no way around taxes and duties. They should be able to deliver your package to you today upon payment. If you run into any issues please let me know and I'd be happy to assist.

Regards,
Dan

Hi @Gingerbee,

I have asked my DHL rep to give me the complete line item breakdown of the shipment cost for your order. I will review it and see if there is some kind of a discount I can get back to you. I feel terrible, especially when this was to be a wedding vow renewal present.

Additionally, thank you for letting me know what was happening and also allowing me to intercede with DHL - I can let future international customers know what to expect with the different international shipping options available.

Lastly, I appreciate your feedback on the DIY kit thread - it is important and relevant, and I appreciate your vote of confidence, despite the crappy shipping experience you had to endure.

I will be in touch by PM after I receive the shipping breakdown.

Regards,
Dan

We do include (4) drilled and threaded mounting holes on each heatsink - they are located near the edge of the face of the heatsink (10mm inset on center of hole from outer edge) and are located at the 12, 3, 6 and 9 o'clock locations.
Do you know the separation between the holes themselves?

The data sheet of the CPL 100 Series says it's 100mm diameter, so 10mm inset on center of hole from outer edge would be 80mm apart diagonally (1->3 and 2->4).

I calculated the space between 1->2, 2->3, etc as 7.071cm. Can you confirm or correct it?

Thanks,
J.

Hi J.

I was incorrect in my earlier statement - the distance from the center of the mounting holes to the outer edge is 2mm.

Hope this helps....let me know if you have any additional questions.

Nice! That'll make mounting them on Angle aluminum easier! Constantly improving your product!
Thanks @BM9AGS -

Yes, constant product improvement for sure. All based on user and customer feedback. And we will continue to evolve our products to suit the needs of the community and to try to make things easier for those who don't care for or want to deal with the electrical and mechanical concerns of DIY.

I have attached a picture of a bare drilled/tapped heatsink to fully illustrate where the mounting holes are - they are located at the 12, 3, 6 and 9'0clock orientations of the heatsink. These mounting holes are roughly 2 mm from the outer edge of the heatsink.

We also include (2) M3-.5 cap head bolts (as shown) with each heatsink for mounting to your frame.

As always - we welcome any questions, concerns, feedback (good and bad) and comments.

We will also be updating the pictures on our website early next week......

Regards,
Dan

Now those are way better than the original - too close to the holder - holes. It'll make much more simple my previously overcomplicated design.
Thanks for the pics.
