@bict

He did say he was going in 3 gallons.
3 gallons pots can only hold 3 gallons worth of media....

I know, was just saying 3 gallon pot are too small for outdoors.
This ^. Dot get me wrong I've seen plants grow out in 3 gal but it def reduces yield n restricts how big them will get obviously. I'd say go at the very least 5 gallons each. I usually use 5 gal smart pots with great results. (Using them again this year along with a 15 gal too try out n n 3 in ground in 2'x2' holes that hold a little over 20 gals each

5 gallon bucks partially buried to insulate them. I personally would like to see you do the transplant indoors and give those little plants a week to root up but 21 x 5 gallon container is no joke. I don't even have enough veg room to do that.. So yeah do the transplant, keep them in low sunlight for a week (for several reasons). Next season It would be better if you can transplant indoors from solo to 1 gallon to 3 gallon then bang, 5 gallon planters partially buried outdoors for season start. (And get ready to stake down the tops of plants lol)

Depends on what you can get your hands on. You just don't want anything with a lot of nutes in it. It will burn your plants n u can tell if that's happening if your leaf tips start too yellow and brown n die that's the start of nute burn.

Just look at the ingredients on the back of the bags. If it has compost or says it feeds for 2 or 3 months then your prob gunna wana thin it out with the happy frog as much as possible. Preferably you should go too lowes or place like that n buy a bail of peatmoss, couple bags of mirical grow brand perlite, n a bag or 2 of vermiculite. Mix it 50% peat, 40% perlite 10% vermiculite n then mix that ink your happy frog. Will fluff the happy frog up plus add basicly no nutes too the mix so there's no worrys. With a 3cu ft bail of peat. N 4 bags of mg perlite n 1 bag vermiculite u can make around 40 gals of soil for about 35-40 bucks. N then it turns into a lot more wen you add it too the happy frog n mix it up.

If your trying to keep the plants on the smaller side for whatever reason than 3 gal would be fine. I do all different sizes depending on the strain and location. .

Is this a guerilla type grow or will you be tending then regularly ? Whats the strain ? Autos or photos ?

@Marksanantoniodank !

what do you want to know. people are answering questions you didn't ask! Are you asking what size gallons to put them in or the quantity of soil that will be needed.

I mean is your question self answering?

3 gallon pots, x 22 pots = 66 gallons.

can you clarify more.

Thanks @TheDabWiz this just might do that and @1kemosabe not sure the strain i got 30 seeds from 1 pound of some really good bud not all germinated only 24 2 have died and yes I will be tending regularly
Maybe some one can answer another question? I am in texas and I'm moving them outdoors if I put them outdoors here how long will they be in vegetation ? When will they flower ?

Again, allot will depend on strain on when flowering will begin and how long untill ready. Any way to post a few pics? If you can grow them as big as you can, then grow them as big as you can imo. The bigger the pot the better in that case..

Your on the right track. Put them in as big of pots as possible n ull be one happy camper lol.
It would be hard too say when they will flower cause I'm in the opposite corner of the country lol our season is like May 20th too end of July middle of august for veg then then till about beginning of September too the second week of October. Depends on strain, and also the weather that year. I limit myself too early strains cause of out climate but your in hot as shit Texas u can grow anythin lol
