What nutes for 1 day old (root boosting) and 15 day old (root boost/npk etc)? & should i fertilise?

Hey, i got told i can give my seedling root boosting nutes and it'll help it a fair amount.

I also have a 15 day old plant that's only got water and's growth got stunted like fuck when i messed up the transplanting but now it seems to be doing fine. What nutes should I add to this one to make

Also, as for NPK, do I buy like liquid forms of all these 3 elements and add it to water or what because I want to fertilise the plants

15 day old plant in MG that has been transplanted. First...IMHO if this were my grow. I would not be giving any additional feeding at all as the MG has time released nutrient pellets and is feeding every time the soil is watered. I would strongly consider letting it relax for a couple of weeks watering very carefully. Then I would transplant into a better medium. I would read and research better mediums and buy or make one.

Just posting something, wanted to watch this thread, I'd love to help you out, but I'm not a soil grower so I wouldn't know where to begin and I don't want to give you wrong advise.....hopefully we will both learn something

What about my light set up, will this be good, should i replace the 20w 6500k with a 35w 2700k?

If the 20w is all you have in the 6500k range I'd stuck with that, maybe add more if you can keep it cool but stay in the 6500k range for veg, use the 2700s for flower, I prefer a mixture of both at all times, but heavier on the proper k spectrums

All MG products have time released water activated nutrient pellets. The products will grow cannabis but IMHO are not cannabis friendly. Especially for someone with little experience using them. The name Miracle Gro is a severe oxymoron, when it comes to our medication. There is a need to have a very regular watering cycle without ever saturating the medium.

Seedlings require no additional feeding at all and in that medium you will not need to feed anything additional for a good while.

And depending on how long you are going to veg, how much space you have, and training methods you are planning on using. Transplanting is very likely going to be needed. Again, I would let her ride for 2-3 weeks now and in the interim find out what you want to do about the medium.

y though ? Seems to be doing fine

ye atm I've got 90w worth of 6500k cfl including the little 20w one, could I add a 35w 2700k and would this be beneficial to the plant?

Im pretty new here as well, am no expert but I def agree with what these guys are saying. I grow all organic, transplant from seeding(or clone) to 1 gal pots and veg for at least 1 month with strictly premium potting soil I buy from local home improvement store with no additional amendments needed. Transplant after 1 month to 7 gal finish pots in amended soil and let veg for another month and then hit the switch. Has worked very well so far every time. Hope this helps!

so you reckon no nutes in whole of veg? Just good lighting? The max amount of watts im gunna go up to is 125w of CFL

The only 'advice' I can give you or anyone is to read and learn and then apply what you have read and learned to your garden and you cannot fail. Anyways, remember the search tool is your friend...Lots of folks here willing to help a new farmer get up and growing. But at the end of the day your grow will be only as good as the knowledge and work you put into it.

It is always great to ask questions but do not take anyone's advice or opinions and follow blindly. And remember anyone may have a well-known member status…but that means they have posted and responded to many threads and does not always mean well-educated growerz. Do your own research, you will be much happier knowing you have done it for yourself and by yourself. The first buzz you get from your own budz...is by far the BEST high you will ever have!

Do a search using your current question as the keyword(s) and ZOOOM!! Like Wonka's Great Glass Elevator…off you go to tons of threads answering all your questions. Read all the Newbie Central stickies and learn…

Soaking up all that information and sifting through it, is going to take time. You will likely finish your first grow by then. Viola! grow complete and education well under way.

Well, depending on how long you wanna veg. I veg for 2 months, the last month being in finishing pots with a slightly amended version of Subcools super soil( please don't flame me too bad guys, I know a lot disagree w subcools method but it has worked well for me thus far and Im smoking the best bud ive ever smoked in my life and its all mine!! HAHAHAHA!! :cuss:) Anyways, technically the last month of my veg includes amended soil. 125 watts will be sufficient for one plant but make sure that plant is contained in a small area. Don't let that 125 watts spread freely over too big of an area. Always make sure you fill your grow area with your plant, more important than you think. Now this is based off of my knowledge with HID lighting(which I highly recommend, its not more expensive on your electric bill like most people think. watts are watts, though you do need to consider heat factor) And if you do need to give your soil life a boost before transplant just topdress or use some compost teas.
