Nope That's A Short. How Can You Tell If You Have A Short With No Multi- Meter?? well You Do The Hokie Pokie And Shake It About And If Said Cobs Light The Short Is Usually In The Hot Side Hence The Word Short

Brother The Short Was Easy Because It Was My 4th Cob So That Informed me To Look At The Positive Side Of Cob 3 And Their She Blows. Just Recut Jacket re Tinned And wala The Is History
Yep That The Way A Series Works. Starting Point Would Be The Positive Side Of The Working Cob Is Where 99.9% Of The Time Is Where Your Short Will Be. Just Ask Watson

This Is What I Have Found During My Many Grows. The 5000k Spectrum Added About 10-14 Days To My Flowering Time. Plus My Ladies Were Frostier And The Most Important Aspect Is That It Kept My Saliva's About 12-18 Inches Shorter.

The temps went down a bit, like 4-5 degrees, over the 2 Mars2 400(360 watts total) that were in there. The temps now, in summer are about 80-82 degrees daytime and about 6 less at night.
AND, And..the light is better, not blue or purple, the plants are thriving.
I believe air movement is my friend, so there are fans. 3 6 inch fans blowing on the plants, 1 vornado oscillating fan blowing from below up, and 2 6 inch fans blowing across the heatsink to the led's, they do get warmish, and I put the led driver, which also is warm to the touch, mounted outside the room.
The whole room is vented with a 6 inch can fan blowing through a carbon filter, out of the room.
And 3 Super Lemon Haze's in 3 gallon ebb and flow buckets.
All this in a 2x2.5 room.

So, do these defusers limit(block) some of the light?
Is the light coming out of the cob uneven? Hot spots? Or is it just the layout of my leds?

I had something like that happen to me a few weeks back! Since my lights are water cooled and I didn't fancy unhooking the panel then refilling the water loop afterwards for what seemed like an easy fix I ended up repairing it in situ. First time I've soldered upside down
