I was thinking going even one further and putting a single led(I have some in white from a sign company that would be perfect) , hell by the time they reach the destination they'd be ready to flip. Maybe even put a little timer in the box for the led if you're anal about light/dark periods.

Before I go, @ttystikk , I let the sunplix distributor know you were turned off by seeing that the ballast only does 860w . I also told him the reason you were turned off is because that you and I both know the lamp will handle 1kw. I don't have all specs on the ballast but I'd think they would build in dimming AND boost just like they do their 315 model. I'll wait for full specs even though I've ordered one myself already.

Just wired up the light cord and vertical socket and test fired. Bitch kicked and started warming up like a boss! Gonna have it up and running today, can't wait!

They are hungry it looks like. I set them at 570ppm(1.14EC) on Sunday and one is at 490 and the other 510.
The smaller plant was getting 340 and is down to 290.
Think I will move them up to 1.3EC and 1.0EC for the small one.
I thought they werent growing for shit, but big difference in 10 days. They went from sticking about 3-4 inches from medium to 12-13 inches.

Room looks different, put some vinyl down and some baseboard and door trim. Also painted the walls and ceiling.
