So i saw this the day after I put them under my 400wMH. Up until then i had them outside and under some cfls as this ballast was being used for flowering. A day or two after i saw this. I hope this is light burn from the bulb being too close and not bugs!

Notice the tiny "rotten" looking near the the top. I looked it over and found no bugs, just a tiny spider who had made a nice little web. made me feel safe, cute little guy.

Looks like bugs to me... I've had both and never seen light burn like that. Light burn wouldn't cause holes unless droplets were on the leafs when the light was intense...

Doesn't look like light or heat burn. Looks more like bugs.

Can I see a little bit of webbing near the "rotten" bit at the top?
are you asking me or tell me or can see webbing? there is a dandelion thing there, I can zoom in on the original pic on my phone and its not a web.. at least doesnt look like one

well i keep getting random wet spots on my leaves, maybe there's too much moisture in the tent. Idk but i was just in there two minutes ago and there was a wet spot on the leaf. the day i switched to this mh bulb and had it so close to the plants there were wet spots here and there as well.

if it is a bug, well i took a pic last night and then compared it just now, and the damage isn't getting worse so whatever it was i guess buggered off

The leaves breathe and then they're touching the bottom leaf will be wet. That's what you likely saw unless it rains in your tent or someone is pissing in it.

Could you explain that? sounds fascinating. Also whats some general all purpose pest deterrent? I put them outside most days in my garden and so there's a lot of bugs out there

That happens when one leaf is on top of another. As it breathes it releases water too so it's like it's exhaling on the leafs it's on top of.

I figured you were putting them outside. Looks like something for to it. No biggie. Just know your odds of not getting spider mites or thirps or fungus gnats is pretty low. So buy some SNS bug juice or need oil spray.

alright thanks man. Another log of the cbd therapy that i came across had a bug problem as well. they were saying how the low thc in the plant might be why bugs like to attack it more. I have a royal medic in the same tent, and put it in the same area outside, and both of the therapy plants had this going on and the royal medic seemed to be fine. Wonder if it's just luck or there's something to that?
