How burnt is too burnt? (clones)

I have some severely burned leaves on some of my clones. I have since gotten a sun screen. They've been stagnant for a few days with minor drooping. I'm just wondering if there is any hope? Or if they are just shocked badly? I have never grown outdoors, and the temperatures have been over 100 since they've been outside. I'm sure they will remain above 100 for a while.

You be OK.. bigger pots would help.. I would move
the marbles off to see how moisture is being in effect.

I have only had to water them once in the 3 days. I found it odd because it's so hot and dry, but I figured the clay pellets were doing their job. Is there a risk of mold or something related to having too much moisture that I need to watch out for?

Learn to go by the weight of container as when to water.
Clones notta a problem.
No IMHO they dont really retain alot of moisture.A
Guy I learned alot on here called em marbles.
They work great in a hydro application were there inside and
drain and then flooded.
the roots attach to them. Uncle Ben well know grower on Riu.
Any way just let it dry out there not gonna use alot of h2o .At that stage.
Mostly from Evaporation being outside..is what theyused. Did you acclamate them to the 100f?


over watered,poor drainage,any perlite in the mix....
mold usely from RH is the problem in flower.

Learn to look at the new growth,
Also,take clones from as low as possible,seem to root faster.

I did get them acclimated to 100+ degree temps. My strategy for watering has been just feeling the soil. They're in fox farm ocean forest so I haven't had to feed them anything yet. I was just curious if the clay would be retaining unecessary moisture, and cause problems. I saw it on a video where Jorge Cervantes mixed some soil for an outdoor grow and threw in some pellets. I did not add any additional perlite to the mix.

The hydroton pebbles wont hurt,But I use the same FFOF and happyfrog and recycle and ammended pebbles dont work lol.The FFOF drains great so your good my motto the more you NEED to water the better your doing watering.I keep perlite to strech the medium plus Need to water more.wink

Why did you not fill the POT up? Any way top feed with a cup or 2 Of the FF.Or do teas Great results doing teas.Holla cindy if I can help.
