While I agree with your side of the point, I'm getting a good laugh out of the fact that his statement is technically not incorrect(assuming it was made in ignorance), and in the situation he identifies as male, so your hypothetical statement is more incorrect than his(and I think is contradictory to the point you're trying to make).
Well referring to it, as a it, doesn't seem to far out of the question since it is classified as non-binary. We both know I have at least a standard intellect. Although you do appear to be intellectually sharper than me. I will not agree with your reasoning on a person with a penis or vagina alone should be classified as non binary, along with the opposite sex claiming to be another until their genitals get a make over. The only way I would see fit of that classification is if a person had both sets of genitals.
The fact is you're not a doctor, a medical professional, or anyone with any authority on this subject. You're a regular person with your own opinions, just like me and most of the rest of us. You wouldn't take your car to a mechanic then discount his advice when he told you what was wrong with it, would you? You wouldn't go to a doctor and dismiss his professional opinion, would you? Then why do you think it's OK to discount medical or scientific opinions dealing with gender dysphoria?
