This poor lil lady has been through heck. She got lost as a seed in the carpet. Then she was abused by a first time grower (overwatered, overheated). Was the loser in a duct tape vs gravity incident, attacked by ants and in a final insult, mauled by a cat.
And yet she persists.
Only half a leaf a week ago. I'm cheering for her!!!!

She will be going outside if she survives. I have 3 in flower.

When I was first planting, I dropped the seed. Carpet is about the same color. Looked for about an hour, no luck. Fast forward about a month. Moved plants to tent. Cleaned up the area and put debris in a bucket. About 3 days later I go to throw out debris and guess what? She was just peeking out of a small piece of soil.

So I had her in my tent and she was doing great. But then I had a duct tape failure (okay maybe more of a applicator failure) and a fan fell. Of course on a day I was away. Flipped her right over and was probably that way for at least a day. Flipped her over and she was bent in half. Just filled her up with fresh soil and propped her with toothpicks. She straightened up and kept on growing. But due to a trip this summer, I had to flip the others. She just seemed too small. So I kept her in my room. But then we had that warm spell and the ants swarmed. I hadn't sprayed yet and we had our house full for a few days. Got to her and beat her up bad one day I was gone. Only couple leaves left. Then my daughter's cat snuck in my room and chewed it down to half a leaf.
I almost tossed her out but I thought what the heck. Figured I should learn something from the debacle lol. That was about 8 days ago. She has taught me much so far.
She's a fighter no doubt.

Looks like a survivor. At this time, no heavy feeding or watering untill she gets her foliage back. These things are actually hard to kill. I've seen half dead plants get tossed outside for trash only to be a thriving small bush in the ground a few weeks later lmao

She is doing great and will soon be moved to flower. For those that are worried that they have killed their plants. These ladies are hard to kill.

Yeah nice recovery.. Does that planter have drainage holes in the bottom or are they plugged? Looks like one of those kind that have no holes until you tear that bottom part off.

The bottom is a separate piece. Water comes out where the two come together. Not my favorite design. May drill holes yet.

You need them in the very bottom of the container marijuana is not a plant that does well in the absence of oxygen. If you are growing organic you don't have to water until it drips from the bottom since you aren't adding anything but water, still need drainage holes though. If you are adding nutrient solutions it is recommended to water until you have 20% runoff and this pushes out the old half spent material to avoid pH hotspots, nutrient unavailability and general unhappiness of the patient.

Lol. Your post before got me thinking. So I drilled holes. Water came out. Was just coming back to thank you for mentioning it, lol. Was in a hurry when I got the pot and the lady assured me that they self drain.
Starting to think this plant is sending out vibes to prevent me from killing it.

See this is why I love cannabis. You never ever know how a plant can come back. So many people on this forum tell people your plants done it can't come back, bullocks is what I say to that. Yer plant is living proof that these plants are stronger than they seem. I'll never tell someone their plant come back. Anyway nice plants mate.

Well she is well into flower now. Just adjusted her height down a bit cause she was getting close to the light.

Well the journey for Hercules came to her end today. She had a last battle with fungus gnats just as she got going in flower so slowed her down some. She did pretty well. I didn't weigh it all but had 5 colas that were well over 5 oz each wet. She was really bushy. Nice dense buds. She's hanging now. Can't wait to give her a try in a month or so.
Bottom line, if I was growing for income, it would've been stupid to grow her out.
But it does prove that these plants are tough and hard to kill. Got to try a few things with trimming and LST and my ladies in veg are now in training!
