Can bugs survive high humidity?

Ive got 2 plant that have a few thrip on them. I've been treating them, and still am, with spray and have only seen maybe 2-3 per plant. I am wanting to take clones from them but the bugs worry me.

Can the bugs survive 95-99% humidity on the clones? Will the clones live or will the bugs just breed and love it?

I know that spider mites hate high humidity and it will kill them, not sure about thrips although I think it does negatively effect them as well at 75%+ RH. What sprays are you using if you dont mind me asking? Spinosad is the safest and most effective treatment for thrips IMO. Its easily found at a lot of hardware stores, too. It should only require a spray treatment or two.

Monterey garden insect spray will kill them quickly and it's organic.

Depends where your from, in my state the tetranychus pacificus is a fucking hell of a species and will attack both top and bottom of leaves and flowers even at 80% rh but dont forget other bugs do thrive in high humidity such as white flies and pill bugs, white flies can also host mites so humidity is not always a solution! Also, what doesn't kill them makes them go dormant so you need to KILL KILL KILL

I am using monterey, but I've sprayed twice and I'm still seeing ones hang around.
For thrips? It might a couple treatments they do fly, make sure covering the top and bottoms of leaves, stems and soil. I haven't seen or read of anything working better than spinosad.

I did a little bit less (or maybe a lot :P) dilution. The plants took a small hit, but I cant see a single bug. Let's hope that did it for good.

bugs love that damp

avoid trying to drown them

as in most cases it will be a day at the beach for them

consider cold pressed neem oil does forthcoming molds too

good luck
