Keepin' it small

Hey, so I'm a first time grower and I've done a TON of research about growing. Autoflowers, hybrids, clones, etc. Ive had 2 plants that grew about 3 inches. Unfortunately they were blown off my balcony by the wind (smh), So I've decided to grow inside. I have this desk that has an area for a monitor. It's only about 22 inches high and barley a foot in width, it is also about 20 or so inches deep. I know this is a small space for a plant, but that's why I've been looking into autoflowers more (I would take my time to find/build a better grow space but Im moving in the next 3 months or so) But I'm afraid it'll still grow too large for its grow space, especially since it's under 2 ft.

So anyone know any good auto strains that stays rlly small ?
Or the most effective way to LST them? (Ik it's not best to LST autos but if you have a better way lemme know!!)
Also if I put a plant in a smaller pot will it not grow as large? And if so will it still grow decent buds?
Can you do a combination of LST and SOG?

Any advise or experience with autos rlly helps!!

Low Ryder comes to mind. Search within this site for "micro grows". Guys have em' in computer desktop towers, to name one small cabinet...

If it were me id actually go with a photo period plant and not an auto flower, simply because if you can predict the stretch you can choose exactly when to flower and control the growth more. Having said that anything indica dominant that retains the squat indica nature will suit your needs well. When lst-ing mine i topped a few times first, then pinned the branches down by making wire stakes with a hook at the top to push into the soil to hold the branches. Goodluck

Any auto can be kept small if the correct light cycles and spectrum is used. Topping and fims if done early are very helpful as is lst. If you want to limit stretch run 24 hour light and avoid too much of the red end of the spectrum in veg. This will create a plant with very short internode length .

For example, this plant was 9 inches tall from the dirt. Grown with 24hour light it's whole life.

Doesnt topping and FIM'ing stress the auto a lot tho? I dont wanna put it in shock. I was going to put the light cycle 18/6 but I'll try ur advice n keep it 24/0. N I like ur container hahaha I was gonna use a milk carton. Thanx for the advice, I'll try it for sure. I only got bout a week left before my seeds arrive.:lol:

Yes it stresses them, but they get over it. The catch is you have to do it early enough. The plant pictured above had every growth tip fimmed.

Alright, how early would you say to top? And how old was the plant by harvest time ? Lol Sorry for all the questions I'm hella anxious n dont wanna mess up.
