Will I Run Out of Room?

My first grow and while I'm happy with how the plants are doing, I obviously made the mistake of letting them stay in veg to long.

Right not the plants are about 2 1/2 ft. starting from the top of my 5 gal buckets and there is only 1 1/2 ft. left to the bulb. I could probably move the bulbs up another 4-6 inches, but I'm stuck after that.

I am 2 weeks into bloom and they have grown about 6 inches since I started.

Will I run out of room? If so, what options do I have! I would do some serious LST if I had the room, but... I have too many plants in there and they've already grown super tight. Many regrets, but I guess you learn...

Suggestions?

Stretch will usually last around 2-3 weeks from flip; although some strains might stretch for around 4 weeks max.

Hopefully they're almost done. If not then LST (too late to supercrop or top now). Also consider removing some fan leaves if you think the foliage is too thick. 2-3 weeks would be the perfect time to thin down your canopy if you really think it's too packed although on your first grow it might be better to just go with the flow.

I have cropped the bottom 1/3 of all of them... should I crop a big more off? I've been trimming several of the fan leaves that are covering the tops that are a bit lower to give them more light. Will removing fan leaves slow it down a bit?

Well, since you have a ScroG screen in place...you may want to consider tucking some tops under it. I personally would not start LST or any other training while flowering.

Ha, I just added that netting a couple days ago to try to even out the tops... wasn't originally going for ScroG. They were pretty level to start with, but like you suggested, I've tried to move the taller ones around a bit to slow them down.

Supercrop them. I've supercropped in flower with no issues so I'm not sure what the issue would be. Works great to keep them off the gh roof.

I am so scared to supercrop at this point haha. Just because I've never done it before and it seems like I would f something up when I'm already this far along. If they do keep growing, until what point do I have to still supercrop or would you recommend I just go for it.

I do it up until the buds start to drop from their own weight. Otherwise a ruined bud.

Appreciate it... I'll give it a try on a couple of the tallest ones and hopefully even out the tops at the same time. I've watched several vids on it, but how far from the top should you super crop it? Would I still want to keep it above the trellis or can it be under and then grow back through?

I do it wherever, but always splint and support. Right at trellis level would be easy to support. Start by just tucking back under the net until you can't anymore. Then Supercrop. It will get easier for you to do it then because you will be out of other options! Lol
