What Kind Of High Is Best For PTSD?

My boyfriend and I are wondering what would be the best time to harvest a plant in order to treat PTSD.

Would the trichs need to be amber, milky, what??

He said the best weed that has ever helped him was a really energetic/ psychedelic type high from a brownie, but he doesn't know what sort of weed it was or anything

he did a few tours in Afghanistan back in 2002-2006

sativa strains are good for the trippy feeling

yeh. I tried making brownies out of some medical grade cannabis for pain but all they do is couchlock the shit out of you and put you to sleep 30 minutes later.

I think you need to find a strain that actually gets you where you comfortably want to be. I believe with ptsd, you want something that is mellow and actually a bit couch-locking/couch-melting without all the head trips,anxiety ect but ptsd and the way cannabis hits an individual is not always the same so you need to find something that works for you. Og kush/purple urkel is my go to strains for stress, it completly stops/mellows my mind and turns on that "relaxation" switch

i smoke because i have MS, i normally wait for the trichs on my plant to turn milky/ amber, as its good for the pain and spasms in my legs, and couchlocky, i grew some critical kush that i had to chop early, the trichs were still clear 9 weeks into flower, but was close to finishing, the hit i got from that was an energetic high, not trippy tho.
did you make canna butter for baking your brownies

Naw. I simmered about 8 grams of this dank bud in some oil for about 30-40 minutes. They were potent as fuck..but just too much. I think it's cuz the guy who grew it did so for his father, who is a nam vet with tons of pain issues. He's a pro grower. I'm not in contact with him anymore but I wish I could ask him. The other brownie my boyfriend had such a great experience with came from him also

I have a younger brother with ptsd and a nice mellow, relaxed high is what works best for him. I think OG Kush would probably be a great strain to try out and then you can go from there.

Other than that: Bubba Kush, OG Kush (indica dominant crosses/phenos) and GDP

If you wanna try high CBD strains: definitely Cannatonic

Northern Lights never gets old! Has a very euphoric and relaxing high and is pretty potent when grown well. If you wanna grow it out, go straight for Sensi Seeds.

I like NL or super silver haze. decarbing them converts the THC acid into THC making extracts much stronger.I use an alcohol extraction to make oil then mix that with PG/VG so I can vape it in my e-cig. unless you are using a high cbd/ low THC strain like med-haze. you are probably going to get a couch lock high at high dosages.perhaps a lower dose would be effective for him

yup that would work the same as the butter, me mates mrs uses all the airy buds that dont get alot of light for her brownies, the trichs on those are probably all clear, that would account for the trippy feeling, might be worth a try

Now they don't call me stoney fer nothing so I know about a good stone vs a good head high. I like stoney type highs for my muscle spasms But for stress I like a mix of both.
