I'm hoping to chuck pollen later this season. But other than a few {Bag Seed Testers} BST1's and BST2's that flowered early, I haven't spotted a male. There are patches that I haven't been too in a month, and I don't always have time to really look all the plants over, but even with 65+ of the Sidetracked: plants in the ground, I haven't spotted a male yet. I know most folks would kill for a strain that didn't make males, but I'm trying to make seeds here. I'm going to cross it with the BST2 {if I'm lucky enough to get a good male} just so I can get a few males in the future.

Here's some babies brewing away for about a week now.

Took my outdoor Blind Date male and crossed him into my indoor OG Cheese; named Pineapple Cheesecake.

Momma has been in flower 17 days and I pollinated the 2 lowest branches I saved for this purpose. . .

I've done that before, pick one off just before it opens then roll the pods open between my fingers and thumb over the pistils I want to hit.

I had plenty of that in the spring. I have 20 acres of Longleaf pines in my back yard.

That's what I've been doing! I pick pods twice a day, in the morning and at night.

I picked off several branches and changed water every day. I'd shake off pollen carefully 3-4 times per day. It lasted about a week and started looking rough as a night in LA County jail after that.
