Newbie here first post so first off I would like to say hi and also thank you as Ive been reading this forum for a few weeks and the advice here is amazing.

First of I keep seeing on the website that there are feminised seeds or regurlar seeds? I have got all the equipment now it's just deciding which seeds to go for can anyone explain the diffrence between feminised and regurlar? I'm sure this is a complete noob quiestion but we all have to start somewhere don't we.

Also can anyone advice a good firs grow seed? And also what is the best supplier of seeds for the uk I keep seeing lots of websites so many that I really don't know which site to use.

Sooty guys I'm awful with computers but just googled feminised seeds so I've now realised after googling that feminised seeds contain no male chromosomes.

So does that mean for my first batch I would be best starting with the feminised and use it as a teaching point?

Fems cost more but won't have males.

Are you growing for yield? Profit?
Are you just fucking around?
If you get non feminized you will learn more because you will see sex and so forth.

No I'm mostly growing for personal use and also because I love trying new things and I like growing plants that look nice and I believe one of the best looking leafs on any plant is the cannabis plant.

Also the guy I use to buy off upset his guy so he can't get any cannabis anymore so that means I can't get any so I thought well if I grow myself il have my own supply. Just got to go without any smoke till I've grown that's the worst part lol

Eventually I'd like to get to the point where I can produce my own seeds so I can cut costs down to a minimum.

The other reason is I like to chat on forums and learn and then teach others so hopefully in the future I could help others out.

Feminized seeds have a much greater chance of producing a female plant. Regular seeds, it's like, 50/50 or 60/40, First grow? Something like Afghan Kush, Heavyweight Fruit Punch, or Big Buddha Blue Cheese. Pretty sturdy, big yields, and exotic. Supplier? @Midweek Song.

Herbies are pretty good. All 1st class signed for, and generally packed in a DVD case, plus a few free seeds.

Hey Davey, Picknmixseeds have always been reliable for me. They will bill you with some name unrelated to seeds. They stock a lot of seed companies, sell in singles, packs of 5 or 10, usually have a discount code if you can find it. If you would rather deal with a particular breeder then you can see what they are stocking and find them online. Dinafem are good too.
Pretty much all seed companies for our part of the planet will package discreetly. If I order off picknmix I have the seeds 2 days later. I think Dinafem were about the same.
Gorilla seeds are members on here and have UK and USA branch I believe!
