Gun control regulation doesn't violate the 2nd amendment
OK. Tell us how we keep "crazy people" from owning firearms. Should the government have a database of people with mental health issues? Should physicians be compelled to report the results of their practice to the government? Should we embrace the notion that US citizens' information is kept in a secret database, which the government uses to deny them civil rights? Should the US government be constrained by normal, constitutional due process for citizens (you know: probable cause, warrants, ability to confront accusers, etc), or do we "just trust them"?

Second question: please tell me which of the various recent crimes would have been prevented by your proposed "common sense gun controls". Shouldn't that be a fundamental litmus test for any proposed law, that it actually is useful?

Last question: Democrats are on record wanting to restrict or eliminate civil rights under 1A, 2A, 4A, and 5A. Would you please list all of the freedoms you want to abolish so that we can discuss the entire scope of your desired descent into tyranny?

Thank you.

You are undoubtedly right. It would help if you list their crimes, though.[/QUOTE]
The same as hillary. Since you didn't list hers, I'll assume they'd be similar crimes. Minus the war crimes.

Minus war crimes? What was Gadhaffi just a game of domino's?

No, he fucked up because he wanted to make a gold backed currency in Africa and not use US Dollars as the world reserve currency.

Also what has Russia done for all this cold war bullshit coming back? Crimea? They didn't fire a shot. But they are trying to move away from the dollar with the brics. Israel stole land and fired many shots must be Crimea though.

Saddam wanted to trade in Euros as well but like Gadhaffi he ain't speaking.

Alot of shots were fired for Crimea. Maybe ghadafi could be considered a war crime. I didn't approve personally. But he was responsible for the pan am lockerbie bombing. Could be just pay back for that.

What right did we have to go into Libya? What was the act of war that brought us to Libya? We had no business in Libya other than to destabilize the region.

I did say the pan am lockerbie bombing could be used as an excuse. It would just be a delayed reaction. Also said I thought it was all a horrible idea/decision.

So, they installed their own, private email server to evade FOIA transparency laws. They exchanged more than 60,000 emails, and turned over half of those emails after they were caught violating federal law? They deleted about 30,000 federal records in violation of federal law? They sent classified information on unsecured, private servers and networks in violation of federal law? They collected millions of dollars from foreign governments while using their power in government to grant preferential treatment to those governments?

What war crimes? Bush did stupid shit in Iraq. Unwarranted shit. He had authority to do that stupid shit, though. Hillary voted for it. She is supposedly a very intelligent woman, but she seems to have very poor judgment. She does have a hound dog's nose for every unethical dollar, though.

Just a bit delayed wouldn't you think? They are most certainly guilty of war crimes but we are the UN so who cares?

"descent into tyranny" too funny that, how melodramatic.

Non gun owners are the vast majority in this country yet a majority of us support gun rights. We don't want to regulate gun ownership. Still, the sentiment is changing with every day that passes and no reduction in even the most basic and preventable death by firearms. If gun owners don't take the lead in reducing firearm related deaths and injuries who will? Eventually the non-gun owner community will and I can almost guarantee you that it will be a shitty response. I know it's too much to ask but I'll say it anyway. Why don't gun owners take the issue as their own to solve?

I'm not talking about reducing gang or criminal use of guns, just reducing in-home accidents, unjustified shootings like the Florida popcorn killer and gun theft. Most of those stolen guns are the ones used by gang and criminals.

Seems to me they stopped the bad guy pretty good when they blew him to bits with their robot. Long guns trump hand guns and robot explosives trump long guns, now we know.

To answer your meme, the shooter had the tactical advantage of surprise, position, and firepower when the event began. I think the robot was used to prevent the loss of additional law enforcement lives.
Sounds good, but it was still one man against basically the entire force.

Only people I saw running was BLM. Texas just got open carry this January. Colorado has way more open carry and Texas makes you take a course, Colorado does not. But yeah, BLM ran like the cowards they are. Houston and Dallas are full of crackheads, katrina evacuees and gangbangers. Sorry you have such an outdated hollywood image of Texas. Do you know how conservative Colorado is, probably not. Houston had a fat ugly lesbian Mayor and major cities in Texas are very antigun, and are Democrat, to set the record straight.
How about all of those open carry cops? Face it man, the 10 gallon hat pussies were no where to be found.

This does prove @UncleBuck views of how can guns save us from tyranny? Wrong as it took 5 dead cops and 6 wounded and an entire police force with a explosive robot to take a single man with a gun.

The second amendment protects us from tyranny nothing about good man vs. bad man nonsense. The police are armed like soldiers and the people can win.
