Damn nice looking plants! I also went with the 900w viparspectra (but the other version) and I'm loving it so far! Excited to see your results!
Thank you!

I'm pretty darn excited over here too! lol

Do you have a journal of your ladies? I'm intested in seeing how others fair with brand. Though, viparspecta is on the cheaper end of the led spectrum, the technology is solid.

looking good I'm looking at led's as they are getting affordable still running an hps but th switch is coming soon
Not having to deal with the HID heat issue has been the best thing so far! The grow area keeps with whatever the ambient temp is outside of the closet.
Also, I only need to water each plant with about 1.5 litres, every other day. :)

Ooohhh!! I'm very interested, I originally wanted to go for the 1200 but they were sold out, and I needed to stay on schedule, so I went with the 900.

he is about as far along as you are he replaced 2 -1000w. hps I'll keep you posted on his progress if I lived closer to him I would post some pics as you're interested in his progress we're interested in yours as well I'm wanting a led but figuring out the funding really wanting Cali light works but a compromise could happen

Just threw a homemade co2 generator made of water, yeast, and sugar. Though I'm sure they get plenty of co2 from the ambient air, I'm curious to see how the girls respond.

Please do keep me posted! :)

When I was doing my shopping, what it all ended up coming down to was the technology. I decided to go for a light that used 5w diodes for the coverage and penetrating power. Then it was a decision of how much I was willing spend for the experiment. Throw in the 3 year warranty that vipar had, and I was sold.

what kind of growth are you getting out of the gg#4? I'm looking at it for future grow as well as sunset sherbet got pinkpanties going right now & ive got mkultraXbubblegum going outdoors I'm using waterfarms my goal is to have a high- production economical to operate growroom right now I use a 250-400 w.switchable ballast that's working pretty good for what it is I'm also using a 29x29 in.scrog I set my stand up to accommodate either a single waterfarm or 2 of them side- by - side waterfarms once dialed in yield good I've almost got things where I want them with the right strain 1- lb harvest from a 400 w light have happened I would be happy with 1/2- of that here is a pic of where I'm at right nowimage.jpeg

Plant looks awesome! 1lb from a 400w HPS is amazing, the most I've ever pulled from my 400w set up is a half pound. As far as the GG#4, I love the structure and it's great resistance, I had originally got the clone to flip to a male using the colloidal silver method so I could breed it to some Scott's OG, but the person who was fostering the mother of the let it die.

So, hence, cramming four plants into my closet lol

But, the GG#4 is the plant in the front right of my pictures. Nice thick stems, did great with the fim, and I'll say it again, just the overall structure is gorgeous!

Do you use pure BUD premium? I've used fox farms but BUD is local. I used some regular last year with pH issues, but the ingredients seem perfect. Have you run it all the way through with just molasses?

In fairness, I ran the regular with mid 6 tap water, but no meter, sat it out for 24 hours. The pH could've been all my fault.

Indeed, just the premium. I used to use FF soil, but would always run into deficiencies so, decided to boycott FF, lol!

Here's a few shots of my last grow using only BUD premium and molasses with my 400w HPS.

Thanks! That's beautiful! I am going to try it. My soil grow needs nutes in fox farm, I hate that. Even beneficial support and molasses haven't done it. I'm sold, thanks again.

I haven't pulled over 7 oz. from the 400 & I don't look for the pinkpanties to be a powerhouse yielder but this is my first waterfarm grow & ive made some mistakes so this is definitely a learning experience

The key term there, "learning experience", is the best part. Every grow for me, over the past 7 years had been one, lol! But it's really the best way to master the craft! It allows you tweak and improve things. :)

I myself have never tried any kind of hydroponics, too much of a stickler for organics. But, definitely interested in seeing how your ladies turn out!
