Moving To California!!! Advice and Comments.

Hello fellow members at Roll It Up! Times are getting pretty exciting here. I decided to move out to California. I will be staying in Sacramento when I first get there.

I am currently living in New York (no we don't all live in the city) I've always lived upstate in the valleys and farms. Unfortunately it gets worse and worse here and there is nothing for me and I feel like im rotting away. I'm 21 living with my parents and plan to leave September 23rd and rooming with a couple bros from the military. I want to get out on my own though as soon as possible. What is your advice for me? Any things I should know about Californians and culture?

I would really like to possibly connect with some of the legal growers operating in California. I am planning to attend college and take part in some of the agriculture and farming programs that are found all overrrr for hands on experiance. Yes, i love my marijuana and yes it would be great to work in that field. But i have a passion for life and all of gods creations so Id be happy doing anything to make a living while pioneering this fine earth.

Sacramento is beautiful, I have a sis that lives there, but I love upstate New York, but she loved Sacramento much better than New York where she lived as well. You two sound very similiar!!! Good luck with your move!:cool:

California native here. More and more I want to leave. This state is a nanny state. All of the things you like to do are probably illegal in California.

There are rules and regulations for everything. It's overpriced, crowded and extremely superficial.

You will spend at least half your day sitting in traffic. Sacramento is a flat farmland area that's boring as fuck.

There are beautiful areas to the north and east of sac though.

The entire state is gang infested and/or on meth.

If you have any guns you probably have to leave them as they're likely illegal here.

Tbh this state blows.

BUT WE HAVE SOME BOMB ASS WEED. :)

Haha, sorry but Id rather be somewhere overpopulated than underpopulated. I live in a town of 2800 people. You cant fuck a girl without your bro from high school already hitting that. Its time to meet some people and shit. There is no life here.

californai is beautiful, but if you asked 100 of us, NONE would mention a damn thing about the valley.
redwoods, oceans, lakes, deserts, Tahoe, sierras, Alcatraz, the "red triangle" (for shark lovers), napa for wines...

If you like the BS with L.A, there is that, just pardon the tweekers everywhere.
And you guys are insane IF you count out san Francisco, that city is fuckin awesome, I just went to an underground industrial dance club, a couple weeks ago, and the most beautiful women were everywhere..

Your 21, your going to a beautiful state, and it has legal medical marijuana. I think you'll be fine.

My advice to anybody moving here from any state OTHER than NY....is.....dont! Ca for the most part is a PIECE OF SHIT!....luckily for you, your moving from the only state id say that is shittier than cali, so welcome sboard & enjoy the stay lol....

First off....were all assholes out here! Were snobby & think were a lot cooler than anybody else....(some of us are lol)

Second....hope u like the heat.....cuz were a hott mothetfucker out here...

Third, stay away from south sac...north sac...the majority of east sac...& most of west sac. All hoody as shit......

Pretty much everything except weed is illegal.....lol....

Vehicle emmision laws are rediculous....
& every damn thing is expensive.

As far as the cannabis culture goes......i dont think you can find better outdoor climate than northern cali.....the further north you go...the more beautiful it gets....
Most people think of cali & think palm trees...blonde women & surfing....however thats just so cal.....for the most part its all agriculture, farmland & mountain ranges with cities spaced out miscellaniously......

Everybody says were so "fast paced" here...but again comming from new york, everything is much faster im sure....

Oh yeah, get used to hearing folks say "hella"........cuz were "hella" cool like that!
