I discovered a California style fish taco joint that just opened in a nearby town. I got to chatting with the owner about his experience living here. He moved from California 5 years ago and had worked in a local brewery for 4 years before opening the restaurant. The townspeople gave him shit about opening up a Taco restaurant seeing no value in anything other than Southern food. When he finally got his permits and opened the townspeople would show up to complain about the food and prices. Literally just show up to give him shit and not buy anything.
This guy is investing in your shitty rundown abandoned mill town and the first thing people do is try to run him out of town.

I never said no one cared, but with that kind of death loss in 3 days, where is the outcry from the black community and all communities. Why isn't the community, and the black leaders not taking to the streets about that? Seriously you have to wonder is it because it is not an easy scapegoat kind of thing? That the community would have to look outward, but also look inward instead of just pointing fingers. I just don't understand. There are black leaders that could do something about this, to really bring the spotlight onto the community, to bring about change, to talk about the importance of not just changing the community, but the importance of family, that so many young men are growing up without fathers, needing father figures, the need for education, and they for the most part are silent. I remember a young child was killed in Chicago last year in a gang shooting, it broke my heart for the child and the mother, and the silence about this was deafening. A 9 year old in March an execution shooting, and a toddler a year or two ago, and many others between 9 and 16, some intentional, some accidental casualties of gangs, it is so sad. 1, Black Lives Matter is very poorly lead. The followers have nothing to show for their efforts but stolen goods, which is the problem with their tactics. Taking anger for the Judicial System out on the public is not good tactics any way you want to view it. Targets should include Judges, Police stations, Jails, Courthouses, and Sheriffs to include staff, with violence being a last resort. If you are going to stand up, make sure you are not in deep water over your head. (that`s an easy one guy) You will not get the most important part of a protest if you behave the way BLM has been behaving. That important part is, your Country standing behind you. Don`t even try if they don`t, yet they do and all they receive is bad credibility. My statement stands,.....Poor leadership and bad tactics.
2. Al Sharpton has lead marches, gone to the White House and pal`d up with Obama many, many times,...try and figure out, Why? Al Sharpton is a piss poor leader and makes his living off race baiting.

It's sad that people don't know history. You know the civil rights Era got us here with nonviolence and dialogue but at a heavy cost to black (and the whites that marched with them) lives. They had the connections to the establishment but didnt really make a difference so they have been passed by. Young people can record and organize and march on their own. They as individuals know their lives are at stake. That's why you see and hear so many different voices. Sure some may not be as refined as you would like but they have the right and duty to protest this shit. As for laying the blame for the looting at a social justice movements feet that is quite a stretch.
Blaming the Dallas Shooting on BLM is wrong too. BLM didn't order a hit. Micah Johnson was a weirdo as is anyone that has committed mass murder. The reason he picked Cops is because bad cops exist and the silent ones are complicit in the state of things and he was a weirdo.

You are gravely mistaken, Al Sharpton is Obama`s go to Black leader because there is no one else he can go to. Al makes sure of that. Recently he marched over the bridge with him, Does nothing about Al paying his taxes, and should. Al has been to the White House more than most Governors.
I remember the sixties, I remember how much worse the divide really was. It is no where near that bad, but the press/media has control over the reporting and has blown this up to a scale it is not. Black Lives Matter is a horrible choice of catch phrases, it can be taken many ways alone. Not a good choice, which leads back to leadership choices. It`s name alone is designed to bring antagonization and instigate.
I don`t live in the South States and can`t really say how bad it is, but I can say that up in the North East, bad cop shit wont last a day. We are not so large an area and it`s not gonna fly. Down there where a County can be larger than my State,...it`s easy for the media to report entire states are one way when they are not,...voices don`t carry that far but internet and TV does.
Black Lives Matter knows how America feels about that Title,...has no plans to change it so the Country can get behind them, as of now, the Country views it`s Title as offensive to the public and that sits well with it`s leaders. The Movement should have a definition and a goal,...not a adversarial Title to defend with,..."see".

Leaving open the ability to change the definition of the statement isn`t a smart play. You wont fool many with games and names, but a statement that projects others being your complaints` origin, you better specify those others. BLM does not define the movement in any way shape or form. You only say Black lives matter to someone that does not care about them.
