BINGO!!I put them close enough to create humidity clones don't need a lot of light the roots hate light so whatever closeness needed to cause the dome to fog up that's what I do
Thanks for your help, I have kept the lights 6" above the dome and hopefully you can see from the pic I drilled 8 x 2" holes on the dome to promote air flow and have been spraying 2 times a day, will it be safe now to leave the dome off?Domes are for keeping the medium from drying out. If you have dry air with lots of airflow then dome it.
Clones need leaves intact that's above the medium, and they need light. Clones use the light, and energy stores in the leaves to grow roots.
Thanks, I left the dome off for about 2 hours and noticed some leaves wilting so I sprayed again and put the dome back onyou shouldnt need to spray
Thanks for the tip, I left the dome half on for 12 hours today but noticed a few of the leaves were starting to wilt, so I misted them a bit and left the dome half on, was this the right thing to do?I use dynagro Protekt silicone @ .5ml per gal for my mothers nutrient regiment. This among other things help the clones from wilting.
I would ween them off the dome by keeping it half off. You want the medium damp, not soaked, and not dried out. You want the light within it's effective range.
I agree, I never spray clones or the dome anymore, Leave the RW cubes as dry as possible and have roots in 7-10 days. I figure if their thirsty and want a drink they'll have to grow some roots.you shouldnt need to spray
Sounds good. Get that light on them 18/6, and do not saturate the medium. Thanks for the tip, I left the dome half on for 12 hours today but noticed a few of the leaves were starting to wilt, so I misted them a bit and left the dome half on, was this the right thing to do?
Thanks dude, I haven't misted them and weened them out the dome, I've had it off the entire day with no signs wilting, in fact 2 of them are now noticeably taller, I've moved them now to 4" away from the lightSounds good. Get that light on them 18/6, and do not saturate the medium.
Good good news. Thanks for the update. Thanks dude, I haven't misted them and weened them out the dome, I've had it off the entire day with no signs wilting, in fact 2 of them are now noticeably taller, I've moved them now to 4" away from the light

They may yellow some to draw on reserves. Get ready to feed them very very light nutes soon. As long they are loving that light they will root.
Awesome! Cloning is a skill that's a must have. Thanks for all your help, this is them at the moment, got 7 out of 8 success and they doing so well!! One more week of veg and into the flower room they will go
They will go and start looking like shit and then they will bounce back. Don't worryThanks for the tip, I left the dome half on for 12 hours today but noticed a few of the leaves were starting to wilt, so I misted them a bit and left the dome half on, was this the right thing to do?
