Well yes, and no.

Independent third party product test data performed by someone that has expensive testing equipment is absolutely invaluable and only needs to be calculated once. If put on the internet it will last forever, for all to see

However I do understand that time is precious though :D

I called the guy from LED-TECH.de, i told him i cant see the datasheet for the new hyper red. he told me, that he is not allowed to show them at the moment. I asked him if he could look in datasheet and tell me what efficiency the new hyper red has, he said the new hyper red is 56% efficiency :hump::hump::hump:.

I bought 100 of them on normal led star, today they have daytrade on this item. I paid 257euro

After a closer look... the FR star in the day trade earlier today (yesterday for germany) appears to be an older version. Not the (new) outlined in blue on the right in malocans pic, but the one below it.

GFCSHPM1.24 far red instead of GFCSHPM2.24 far red (new)

In the tables comparing efficiency they also list the 1.24 and not the new 2.24.

But then at https://www.led-tech.de/de/High-Power-LEDs-Osram/Osram-Oslon-SSL-c_206_207.html the 150 FR 1.24 is listed as New.

I guess with the small amount of FR most would get it is not a big deal but it's confusing.

yeah thats all confusing :confused:. I think you are right, its seems to be not the newest version, but in the pdf (PDF is from 02/16) which i link it is marked as upcoming product, so maybe still a newer version but not the newest.

Maybe it will take a bit more time until they realease the newest far red bin.
Yesterday i called Led-Tech.de and asked him if he will got the new royal blue bins in future. He told me that he preordered them allready. But he will receive them first at 4th quarter this year.
