removing fan leaves in flower

I pruned in the 90s , " more light to the buds" was very popular in holland. You would make it look like a spiral stair case.

Then science caught up, discovereed very few photo receptors on the bud itself.

Twenty years ago, cuttng edge yeeeeah riiiiight

Why would you take credit for potency and resin gland devolopement by means of defoliation is the point i made noob

Because my dick is obviously bigger then yours. And because without my water, nutes, light, and training it's just a seed.

I'm still waiting for you, slab, to explain why cannabis is so different than other herbaceous plants. If all you have for a rebuttal is "noob", then I sense a lack of endowment both cranial and genital.

I have some good theories about spiral prunnings effect on cannabis
I'm in week 3 of flower and for the last 2 weeks Iv'e been removing the lower branches and removing all the crap that doesn't need to be there. Over the last few days bud production has exploded. Does it hurt the plant to remove the big water leaves that are covering bud sites during this phase of flower? I just don't want to stress the plant unnecessarily. thanks. First grow fyi

Wanted to get back to this With You Ham, next run do a few with uncle bens instructions of topping.

I promise you will be amazed at the normal growth on the bottom of the plant. No larf., you will also see glands with almost zero degradation.
7 grams of resin glands or about an ounce of the tastiest buds on the table, not the bin.

the best get a pound per plant in 2.75 months, they defoliate!

The day before chop that is :)

it does look pretty cool tho when they're heavily defoliated - but i won't do it - i just take off leaves that look unhealthy or are really big and blocking buds - but i will take more top leaves off in weeks 7 to harvest - about 5 days before harvest, i'll heavily defoliate but thats just to get a jumpstart on it all so my harvest goes quicker and im not taking all of those leaves off then

What other fruit bearing herb plants are you referring to?

It is No different then any other fruit-bearing herb. The dryin' and smokn' part perhaps.

Noob.

You guys do know that most all of the light that passes through the leaf is green spectrum. The plant takes Most of the red and blue from just 1 leaf.

Trying to talk defoliation is just like talking politics you never get anywhere.
Well all these pot smoking hippies that trim fan leaves are going against nature. I figure if they were counter productive then the plant would naturally shed them. The flower is the most important pice of the plants whole existence so the fan leaves have to be important. But with any healthy plant you'll get quality bud even if you fuck the plant up wheather it's nutes, leaves or roots.....

Defoliation is done with poison and earth movers, the term itself is an afront.

There is no side, only uninformed vs Mordern science. More like biblical creationalism vs, Darwinism.

Botanical sciences vs bong water
