Ever herd of the old Overgrow ur government website and forums , ya if u do thats what overgrow was , just like this but way better i think it was closed by us government in like 98 or 04 cant remember

The RCMP in Canada has apparently closed down one of the world's largest cannabis growers

When the world's largest websites for cannabis growers and enthusiasts disappeared from the web on Monday, January 30,
Cannabis Culture began receiving emails on Wednesday saying Richard Calrisian and his wife had been arrested along with four employees, but this could not be corroborated.

On the website www.icmag.com, seed merchant Gypsy Nirvana, operating from
England where cannabis seeds are legal, posted this news late Friday:
"It is with great sadness that I bring you the news that RC and HS, OG and
CW have been taken down by the authorities in Canada.....
...I have it from a bonofide source that it happened on monday and RC's
computers/servers have most probably been siezed, they spent 2 days going
thru his house and removed alot of stuff ...His wife and some members of his family were also taken into custody and
it's possible that she may be released tommorrow on bail... There has not
been a peep in the media about this so there could be a reason why it was
not advertised by LEO......BE WARNED! not to try and log on to Overgrow or
Cannaworld for now since most certainly the security of that site has been
compromised and if it comes back up without me first hearing from RC then it
is NOT being run by him.....think about it!
...This could bring up some real security issues with many
Overgrow/Cannabisworld members.........be warned guys and do what you need
to do to make it safer for all of you.......duck and cover if needs be....

it was the best of the best for info at the time, and may still be the best "single" culmination of information.
you could learn what to do with your seedlings indoors and out, how to make your own HID fixtures, everything you'd want to know was there...which is why it was closed. the information is still available online if you search hard enough, but pictures are missing, and so are complete pieces of text. =/ somone needs to make the new overgrown.

Just came across a link for OG and was a bit startled when a screen popped up from the RCMP advising that they had taken over the site and the various reasons why. Funny thing is, I went there to learn about online "safety", they apparently had a complete rundown on internet security. So now I have to smash my new computer and move to New Zealand I guess eh? FerFokSakes!! anybody know what an RCMP cookie looks like?
So now my balls are blue. Is the current OG site Mountie operated? Lots of renowned breeders, good cyberfriends, and the best informative culture light years beyond any. Hell, i think, OG predates the cannabible, lol.
I always loved the blatent showing of puppet strings when RCMP arrested all these 'criminals' but the united States government seized the site and flew their banner there after the dust cleared. God, my heart sank. I miss all them og's that watered seeds of knowledge to overgrow America. AS out.

I remember all of that shit and I'm still sick about it..
You'll get no one-upsmanship from this direction. I have no doubt this RIU is continuing and improving on that OG precursor. If anything, shame on me for not staying current, I just didn't need the resources anymore. God bless for keeping these resources out there for free minds to decide, then be the best at what we do.
