Bitte halt deine fresse.grower should grow more thats what i think
I'm running some Mars 5w chips sets and they will even burn tops lol. And we all know the Mars is cheap Chinese shit, but they work well in tight places is all because they don't have the penetration like the Apache. It's not even close. Im running over 1000 square ft of indoor grows atm by myself, and I use the gavitas, but if the Apache were like a grand I'd already have switched over to them completely. The cost is what's been holding me back but in the end it will even out and slight towards the LEDs. Grandpagreenthumb on instragram is my friend who runs them and some of these pics are his of testers grown under the apachesSo you are saying that CXB3590 are cheap? Explain how I can have them 6-8" from the top of my plants (keep in mind, this was veg AND flower) and no burn? 600w @ 56% efficiency in a 4x4 with no burn.
I can't speak to Mars personally, but I see good grows with them. If a light is burning a plant, though, it needs raised. If the light is LED, you need a warranty, that should never happen.I'm running some Mars 5w chips sets and they will even burn tops lol. I only use them to clone and veg and run seed crops under them instead of a hps for the healthiness and speed or growth as well as cool factor these have. I just experiment a lot and tried bringing them in tight and bleached some tops on the triangle kush with her.I can't speak to Mars personally, but I see good grows with them. Wow, that's pretty awesome.View attachment 3740330
I just bought these too in the 5000k spectrum to replace my t5 flouros even. I switched awhile back to under cabinet LEDs to clone and they are much better, cheaper, and produce more vigor and root production esp in a water cloner. My failure rate is almost zero now
I use nothing but LEDs. I'm with you.i have used leds for cutting for a long time now
Yes they are and plug and play too. No bypassing the ballast and direct wiring to lose your warranty either. 16$ each too and will last average 5.7 years on 24 on. Pretty amazing what LEDs can do really. I'd never go back to t5s againWow, that's pretty awesome.

What is your problem with real info.Quit plugging those pieces of shit already. I would buy 3 Gavita 600 for the price of that thing and have 2-3 times the harvest.
Do you have experience with them? Have you tested them? What is too much and what is not enough? How do you know that? What is an apache hitting at 12" ? and I already showed you 36" which is still higher than most everyone runs their cob units at.There is no way that an AT-600 will be too much light @ 12" let alone 36"..... This is false and bullshit information that for some reason continues to be spread. I am running 600w of CXB3590 6-8" in a 4x4 area from my tops and have no light bleaching. You are telling me that AT-600 is more intense? At 36" no less? Company paid shills say this kind of bullshit nonsense.
They run the light at 36" cuz the light coverage SUCKS, no other reason.
Ok Mr know it all. Since Remo "doesn't know light" and apparently you are the only one who's opinion is correct or has any value, I have to ask this question as a follow up to yourself trying to figure it out - Why are you not hitting 2 per light? And in the end has nothing to do with height. Canopy intensity is the end story, no matter the height. It's not about who is the most intense at distance anyways. It's about supplying light to the canopy and how ever that has to be done based on the light and it's design is the way to do it. Not just one way to skin the cat.
Please show what ever you say is false? What have I showed that is not true?Stop providing bullshit information and I wont call you out. Quit pushing a product that is way overpriced for what it is and its not some magically efficient and amazingly bright light. Im not saying its a piece of shit light, but its overpriced for what it is (and the lack of details given on what it really is) and I can assure you that running it at 36" is ONLY for coverage, not due to "too much intensity".
Did you invest in AT or something?
I don't care really if my statements are what you would consider blanket statements. The fact is nothing in my grow changed besides the lighting, I'll admit I didn't do any testing with differing voltages etc on the cobs etc. Environmental factors remained a constant as did genetics. Perhaps running cobs much softer would produce the same effects. All I know is I'm much happier with the quality of product changing nothing but the lighting. Am I saying this is definitive proof of anything?.. Nope of course not, it's just what I observed.I love all these blanket statements, you know there are variables. Does the LED or COB have a reflector, lense or is bare. How hard is it driven, amount of energy coming from it. What nm or k value it has. Hell even genetics can play a role.
Forgot to add environment, temp and humidity.
Wasn't referring to you, just this thread in general and this LED section. I'm also a grower that likes to show what works in my garden and try new things all the time.I don't care really if my statements are what you would consider blanket statements.
