Is very sad, and when you watch how they mourn a lost family member breaks your heart, their caring far surpasses those of most of the human species...They're beautiful, majestic animals. I saw some in a zoo in France years ago and there were a couple of them that had obviously been traumatised in some way, kept somewhere too small for them, cos they'd take 2 steps forward, 2 to the side, 2 back then to the side and so on, just shuffling in a square, it was very sad to watch. They're too intelligent to be kept like that, no wonder it sends them a bit mad.
