Out of the 5, 4 are growing very similar and the one, SisterMidnight, is a little shorter and budding faster and forming more resin on day 21. It's still early but maybe the taller 4 will go 9 weeks or a little more. No 'strong' odors yet. Will give an update on day 35.

I forgot to mention...Elvira was grown straight up not topped. Everything else topped once when young in veg. I love how Mel has a nice 'V' at her base.

Doing some night time work on the GA's....'Jacky Brown' is budding up faster and looking great. This is gonna be interesting 'SisterMidnight', the shorter of the group, is forming tiny buds out of the center of fan leaves. IMO this is a Vortex trait passed on. I would say 75% of the Vortex females I ran in the past showed this same expression.

It's been a heat wave here and the ac's are working overtime and that meter keeps-a-spinnin'! Not gonna run the bud room lights tonight. They'll just get an extra day of sleep and be just fine. Too damn hot
SisterMidnight being show on day 29. The pheno Diane Lane, the biggest, has become sensitive to the Super Soil and has some leaf burn. She was just fine up to this point but now she's getting a little hot feet. No pics atm of her. Update later of her.

I was originally posting pics of this grow in the "TGA by others" but thought it would be cool to start my own thread since I've never done anything like that before.

All 11 seeds germinated. Out of those 11, 6 were female. The females weren't put into flower all at the same time because of space. The last female is going into flower tomorrow.

All plants are being grown in SuperSoil in 10 gal. pots under single ended 1K hps'.

The first pic is when they were babies and just broke ground back in April.

The second-fourth pic is one of the first GA's I put into flower. She's in bud-set on day 12 tonight.

Awesome I was just thinking of buying these! As an old school C-99 fan, and also a grower of several of Subcools work, I will be watching!

Way before the seed plants are finished, I already have 1st generation cuttings vegging under a 1K for about 5 days so far. I'll run them 2 or 3 times before deciding on the best pheno. Growing straight up, not topped.

Ok, 3 phenos are on day 35 tonight.
SisterMidnight - Had the wife help me get a good smell test on her and the others. Told her nothing about them, just smell 'em and tell me what smells/reminds you of. We both came to the same conclusion on SM...she has a nice sweet fruity aroma. Gonna be a medium yielder/medium height and growing really nice. My favorite now of all the phenos. All phenos really started fading in the last 48 hours. All yellow dead leaves will be removed tonight.

Jacky Brown - No sweet fruity aroma with her. She as a nice floral aroma. We couldn't put our finger on any specifics except it's very floral. My wifes first impressioin immediately was skunky floral. I can't smell anything skunky/funky.

Diane Lane - Well, she was my favorite a few week ago but not anymore. She has nice colas forming but the resin content is lacking. Plus, she's sensitive to the amount of super soil I used. Seems like she's gonna have nice colas forming but the resin is just not there compaired to the 2 other phenos. Plus, she has almost zero smell. There might be a bit of lemon but it's very distant. A clone won't be kept of her.

The more I looked at Diane Lane tonight, the more I wanted to give her the ax. She's just not producing much resin and has basically no smell. When growing from seed, I don't hesitate to kill off something that just isn't right.

SisterMidnight is pulling ahead of the pack atm The smell is a soft fruity smell. Love it!
