I'll post some pics of the alien rift tonight. not much else exciting til the plants in veg go into flower. My 5 gal sips had all kinds of issues. It sort of fucked me. My 18 gals are kicking ass though. My rift is the only 18 gal in flower. I have 3 other small 5 gals in flower. I let myself get behind so I can fill the flower room with more plants in one batch.
I'll be running ( 2) 7 gal octopot designs to test. but one will have airstones and the other will not. The one without air stones will have labs in the resi. Anaerobic microbes..

Would those work in 84 degree room temps under HID? I'd think the roots would get too hot!!!
I can attest to this design working quite well!Not from them but that same design. a fabric pot on top of a resi. In cool water in the resi, no they won't get hot. The canopy will shade the resi anyway.

ya want whole fish as the enzymes/acids are in their digestive track , so ya need the guts / liverIm just going to grab 1 or 2 fish. probably get some tilapia at the fish market. its pretty cheap.

look for whole frozen herring the pacific rim / eastern shops sell it
that's why i use that dry ground seagate it's whole anchovies & sardine
I'm gonna do the frozen bait in a 5 gal tub this fall & let ferment all winter
but for now that seagate is really easy to use & works great over what i used last year : liquid fish
