It appears that your lawn has weeds growing in the turf. Round up will clear that right up.
Well that's where I drain my pool so nothing will grow there and I didn't ask any lawn question I can call trugreen chemlawn for that

Shouldn't have to be messing with ph at all if your in decent soil ......because soil buffers itself if I were you I'd make sure your plant is getting a dry period inbetween waterings and if your draining your pool there and the roots are coming out the bottom off your half filled container they could be sucking up nasty chems from your pool water ......good luck Just let your water sit out for a day or two before you water if you want .......it helps chlorine to evaporate in tap water .......but I'm in soil also and I never PH my water do to buffer affect and I also will water straight from the hose .....no I'll affect

well lets see here
hmmm
first off blackened outer edges*
yellowing*
add black spots to the mix*
K,P maybe
so yes I would try a 10-15-10 fert the mag is In there(most major brands)so no need for that
oh and btw I would not round- up the lawn area but just work the soil an inch or two and throw down some "magic" or "elf" rye grass it has decent tolerance to pool water plus its better then bare soil or weeds.
just a guess a on my part ;-)
g/l with the grow
*edit
btw I notice soil splashing up on the container if its outdoor left on soil please try to either use a green tarp or even rubber mulch under it to keep the soil from coming up on the leaves

My tap water hovers around the PH8 mark, and no 5 gal pot buffers that amount over time.
If it was in the ground and not a pot then yes it does buffer the PH.

Lol really lmao .....you've got some issues then good soil buffers no problem my tap happens to come out exactly at 8 also and I water straight out of the hose .....non nute days it goes in 8 comes out the bottom perfect ......days I add nutes drop my ph ......and guess what still comes out in the sweet spot .....and I got 3,5,7,and 15 gal pots ......plus ph swing In soil is a good thing for nute uptake in soil ........don't know how or what type of soil your using but your absolutely off on what you claim here above .........and you say in the ground is the only way that's true that's true Hugh ....interesting .........may wana check out ph soil buffering affect before you misinform anyone else .......I can gladly make a video of my plants that have been in pots for several months now buffering ph8 tap with no problem whatsoever .......:wall:

In some of your pics it appears to filled several inches from the top that's why I made that comment ....not attacking you just trying to help you out .......and as I mentioned no need to ph your water in a soil grow if you've got decent soil in your pots to begin with ......what kind of soil and nutes are you using .......the more info you can give the better we can help .....

Fair enough, I will only listen to you from now on, as you are obviously the self proclaimed expert around here.

bigdog, no one here can help you much unless you write more about the grow. what soil are you using? what ferts do you give and how much each time and how often, if any? you soil there looks pretty wet. are you keeping it wet constantly or letting it dry out, which is what you should do; give soil a wet/dry cycle, only watering when it's dried out quite a bit. the reason for this is because roots needs oxygen to uptake fertilizer better. Right now, I'd suggest you transplant into ocean forest soil and use a much bigger container, like 20 or 30 gallon tote or garbage can with holes punched in the bottom for drainage. then just leave it alone as the potting soil has fert in it already. You can't bring back dead leaf tissue, but you can still have a healthy plant.

Don't listen to anyone ....just get a pot fill it with some soil made for growing mmj and prove yourself wrong ....I'm no expert and the only reason you'd say something like that is because you have no argument on the subject and you shouldn't misinform people ....I've been doing this for years and still make mistakes now and again ....and I also don't mind taking tips and learning new things from real green thumbs ......I don't throw tantrums like you did above and cry about it I do research and thank people ........if I were you I'd get thicker skin if your guna misinform people on Riu .........happy growing
