Can I re-cut clones if they don't root?

Next time I me you guys are at the grow store, ask to see the box for the dip n grow. I'm telling you honestly, for 10.95, it's good for 1000 cuttings at a 20% dilution. Literally in 3 days I have 1/4" nubs, 5 days a golf ball root ball, 8 days and I'm potting. It's like super steroids for clones. Price point and bang for your buck, and quick rooting sold me 3 boxes ago. I have 6 containers of old cloning gels I'm about to pitch.

I'm not saying that's why I get a 99.99% Success rate, as I had that rate with my 5 previous gels, but this takes the cake.

I'm very anal with my cleaning. My flower room gets a 4 step wipe down after every run, ceiling to floor, hoods, ducting, cords, ect.

Also, with an aero cloner, there's no need for a dome. You want the cutting to grow roots to get moisture, not from above.

I also clone in root riot plugs. I have a 90% rate with those. But take 2x as long to root and pot.

I think the idea of an aero cloner is to get away from cubes and domes, which is great for a hydro grower. I would love to switch but haven't been in a position lately to sacrifice 10-15 clones for a run I may totally kill. And you should try root riot cubes, I get roots a bit faster and a bit more success.

Oh I know. Its just not often I see @ttystikk flounder, he'll get it figured out, without a doubt. (I'm enjoying a bit of superior feelings for the time being. lol)

I've been able to recut and stick them into another medium, rockwool, and have some survive. Not a good gamble but if the genetics are on the line, then maybe it's worth a shot.

Man the aero cloner was so much quicker and easier than rapid rooters. Just clip them scrape the ends up a couple inches and put them in straight water. If they are taken from flower plants it may take longer. Warmer temps seem to decrease the time it takes to root. Try 75-80degrees and once rooted get them out lower the temp or you get the rot.

Kidding! I'm human like everybody else, I got my failings too. But I'm not the give up type; failure only happens when you quit trying.

I'm not familiar w/Areo cloning but for me I get great results @ 78F, 50-60rh, w/no nutes until roots show.
I start w/ 1.5" rw cubes soaked in 5.5 water for 5 min then shake the water out to where the cube weighs no more then 1 oz. Cover, mist the dome 6-8 times a day.

clones respond well to very a light flowering nute mix

Try aloe vera in the future i never clone with out it now the clones love the slime of it ,i soak the cubes in the slime from one leaf blade ,but stick my clone into it first straight from the leaf they root in fast time

The reason I suggested a cover is perhaps humidity in the actual room was low and affecting things if that could happen cause I know crap about aero other than the sprayer's I threw in the garbage after last grow

I thought nutes were not needed until roots actually formed? I do use res water (used) but only because I'm to lazy to run in and get water lol.

Update on this thread. I went ahead and re-cut the 4 struggling clones and after 4-5 days 2 of them were ready to be transplanted. The other 2 I transplanted today so they took 2 weeks. For my first time building and using an aero cloner, I am very pleased with the success. I ended up with a couple extra clones so 18/18 can't get much better than that. I wouldn't hesitate to re-cut again if necessary. I had my back to the wall environment wise as my area is not cooled and it was 85-90+ degrees in there the entire time.
