Are the cob lights ideal for veg growth as well as bud, or are they primarily better for one or the other. I got the, buy my first light trying to figure out what I want blues
I don't know about what you speakYes. They kick ass. If you want both worlds in one cob, use 3500 or 4000k CCT.
yes they are quality lights butt if I were you I'd get one of the new citizen cob lights from northerngrowlights dot-com. Those lights will kick ass.I don't know about what you speak
But if I went to timber lights and bought one of there kits I should be quite happy correct?
Is there something I'm needing to know that I am missing
The timbers are quality correct.
You'd recommend them or tell me to look at something different.
Timber is great. You're getting 4 cxb 3590 ran at 50watts. Dimmable if you want to turn them down. So 56% efficient and above when dimmed. So unless you can find a cased light that uses 4 cobs for same price I'd choose timber. If you want a sexy case timber has those too and Northern grow lights is an awesome company and the 2 cob clu 058 light is a damn good deal.I don't know about what you speak

It sounds from this like you have never even tested COBs which obviously makes your opinion moot. They sort of lack in the spectrum department, they have no UV light and no far red light both of which are vital to growing top quality buds. I haven't been personally impressed from the grow logs ive seen all the buds are kinda small compared to hps buds and the prices are way too high still.
Bro here you are again talking out of your fucking clueless ass. What the fuck?I think most cobs are full spectrum, so both.
If you get colored cobs... well then you know blue for veg, red for bloom.
here's a stem growing under that exact setup (4x cxb 3590, 3500k, cd bin 56% efficiency)Timber is great. You're getting 4 cxb 3590 ran at 50watts. Dimmable if you want to turn them down. You are bad at reading a graph those aren't even the same measurements...
I'd go for Amare if you want COB. If you email them you might get a good offer. They have discounts all the time.I don't know about what you speak

lol I am growing plants under cobs right now, I been using them longer than you been growing...and I also use hps and mh lights what do you know?It sounds from this like you have never even tested COBs which obviously makes your opinion moot.
There's a reason amare is making supplimentry single diode leds around their cobs AND adding a T5 UV-B light, its because these COBs lack in those areas of the spectrum, if you don't know that , then you don't know about cannabis lighting.I'd go for Amare if you want COB.
I mean I do have a diy Growmau5 style. But to be honest Victor made me rethink the whole strategy. Plus all I wanted was a good light with greater cooling and since they made the Pro9IC... I'm sold. There's a reason amare is making supplimentry single diode leds around their cobs AND adding a T5 UV-B light, its because these COBs lack in those areas of the spectrum, if you don't know that , then you don't know about cannabis lighting.

Just look at their lights , COBs + extra cause COBs lack spectrum, why do you guys all throw mud about things you don't understand?
You mean nanometers?!?! What did I miss??You are bad at reading a graph those aren't even the same measurements...
Hahaha I might put down the High Times or Jorge Cervantes or wherever you get your info from.cannabis lighting.
I'd suggest supplementing all COBs with far red and UV light if you want to get top notch buds.I mean I do have a diy Growmau5 style. But to be honest Victor made me rethink the whole strategy. Plus all I wanted was a good light with greater cooling answer since they made the Pro9IC... I'm sold.
Nope one is in percent of relative energy the other is in watts. Maybe you should read your graph before posting in, they are on different scales. Only NM which is the bottom measurement is the same...You mean nanometers?!?! What did I miss??
