so why is the 1812 skipped over in this thread? Seems like a better bang for your buck than a CXA 3070 and pretty close to a CXB 3590?

I've got 5 coming to test.
I think nobody had them to test, but now Robin is stocking some. I think they look great...going 1212, 1818, 1825 each step up adds 50% more dies. 144> 216> 324, and the prices are basically $12 > $18 > $24.

lotta flavors there. i chose to skip the 1812 in favor of more color options in the 1212 and 1818 series, as i felt the 1212 and the 1818 covered that ground efficiently enough

the giga is a 5 lb beast which would be hard to find an application for outside of a highbay. with its integrated driver mounting and handy hook it would make some badass garage/workshop lighting tho

You made a hefty investment to make Citzens available at all, and make the cost of efficient LED growing lower than ever. A few weeks ago there was jack squat available, now we have $12 cobs in multiple temps that spank the old Vero 29s in efficiency, let alone the 1818 or 1825s. It's fucking great.

i saw it mentioned here that the bin jumps were just a patch and they had something new on the horizon.

good to see cree keeping up with the joneses (well, the jones are at 500W+ in that LES size but we'll see what they have up their sleeve...)
