Best foliar recipe for flowering.

Hi community. Thanks for all the great input so far. My next question is what are people using for a foliar spray for beginning stages of flooring and during mid flower. I know there are debates on whether or not you should foliar spray during flower. But I have seen the results from experts who use folair spraying during flower and it looks amazing. So I'm just wondering what people are using for a folair spray during flowering stages. I had great recipes for the veg state that I was using but I'm sure I would need to adjust my recipe for the flowering stage. So Imy just curious as to how many people foliar spray during flower. And if you do spray what are the products or recipes you are using. Can't wait to hear some good opinions.

Personally, I have never done any foliar feeding during flowering. I feel if my plant is firm in a good medium she has been happy in and her feedings are dialed in, foliar feeding is unnecessary. I also don't care for the chances of mold no matter how small the chances are...not worth the risk to me. Others I am sure will have their own and possibly very different opinions

Completely understand. The mold issues is something to take into consideration. Is there a way to reduce the chance of mold. It's pretty hot outside in California so I would assume the foliar spray would evaporate pretty quickly. Maybe I'm wrong. Again this is my first season growing outdoors so I appreciate all opinions.

Personally if it's your first grow I'd just practice the KISS method and get familiar with the plant and what your doing instead of making it to complicated ......if your grow is healthy than IMO you being a new grower just let it grow .....

I agree. Keeping it simple is always the best route. But also since I am a new grower I'm asking questions in threads like this to expand my knowledge and learn for next year. So I appreciate your approach with keeping it simple. However I juse wanted others input and what their methods are so I can learn and implement some of this into my feeding next year. Thank you again

Well keep a journal of everything you do .....I write down everything watering feeding ......and then I have a journal I've had for years ...filled with info that I've learned over the years ....and I still refer to it at least a few times every year not to mention add to it .....I suggest you start one .........nothing wrong with expanding knowledge just make sure you do lots of research and get several opinions before you apply anything beyond the basics to your grow .......good luck

Absolutely. I have a log going now. Thanks for the good tips. And yes I research things till I'm blue in the face. And then I still do more digging before I implement anything into my regimen. You can get led astray on the net. Lots of opinions and if I listened to every body i would be going nuts by now with a million different products. Even at my local hydro store I always am amazed and how many products and brands there are. I can't imagine how tough it is to make it in Thai business of nutes. It's overwhelming

KISS is definitely the way to go. I've had several serious problems
that could have been avoided if I had simply left my plants alone.
They will tell you if they want something.
Overwatering is always bad.
Leave them alone.

Again I'm just asking to gain knowledge. I'm not running out back and messing with my girls. They are doing good. I'm just asking what everyone else does and why. And if if works what is the recipe you are using. I agree keep it simple. Especially on my first grow. I'm just asking the community what they do and why. I never over water. I'm in 15 gallon smart pots so it's hard to over water. Especially when I let them dry out good in my California summer heat. I'm watering every other day to every 3 days at this point. I doubt I'm over watering.

heh, is that Will-the-thrill on your avatar?

I don't use foliars much for macros, but I do like a pro-tekt and fresh aloe gel as a foliar.
works to "wash" the plants also
outside they get dusty

IF theres an ocsillating fan in the area your fine. Trust and believe foliar feedings are PERFECTO Throughout the entire lifespan. Coconut-/ aloe/ molassess

I've been using ProTekt and Neem from veg til first signs of flower with great results, but keep hearing about Aloe...Bout time to give it a shot I think :)

you are using neem as a foliar feed?
or neem oil as an insect prevention?
never heard of anyone foliar feeding with neem meal
aloe is great stuff, you can use it for cloning too
you can get a good healthy plant at most nursery/hardware store
probably 10-15 bucks or so
