i built a walkway in my yard today. now i can walk barefoot from my backdoor, down the stairs off the deck, past the greenhouse, down to the chicken coop, and even down the stairs into the garden without putting on shoes. i did it boardwalk style, kinda. some of the treads go at a 45 degree angle one way, some go at a 45 degree angle the opposite way, and some just go straight across. it looks kinda cool. used reclaimed trusses from an old barn for the most part.
on sunday i clean out the second basement room to start remodeling that one. doing that first room was hell. hopefully this next room goes smoother.
plants in the yard are getting huge. deck puppies are coming along nicely.
have yet to touch my cash stash. might go back to work in november.
