last 2 weeks of flower

Ok, since my last thread, (https://www.rollitup.org/t/my-plants-seem-a-bit-small-for-week-4-veg.913282/page-2#post-12763267) was a bit old I thought I would make a new one to update on how the plants are doing 45 days into flower with 15 days left. I just flushed all my plants with the sledgehammer by foxfarm flushing mix today with the last 2 weeks im only going to be feeding them just PH balanced water. This is my first time growing so as you look at the pictures tell me what you think.

Plants look good but they have more then 2 weeks left. I would keep feeding. If you cut Early when all the hairs are still sticking out you run the chance of not harvesting at the optimal time frame. (chance of not getting most potent buds or stinky smell)

Your buds put on the weight at the end too. Wait till they swell up.

Don't go by the breeders time frame, that time frame is for absolute perfect conditions.

But that's my .2 cents

You're making a mistake, brother. When you are growing a strain for the first time, I highly recommend you wait until the plant can be harvested before you begin flushing. Don't assume you know when the plant will be ready, miscalculate and find yourself in a position where you must choose between an early harvest or the reintroduction of fertilizer, the latter only after significant nutrient deficiency has occurred.

Nice grow...FF Sledgehammer is a good product. Better when used in combination with Boomerang and Kangaroots. and a little Microbrew. So close to harvest time, if you only have the liquid trio and Sledgehammer...I would likely continue the Big Bloom at 1/4 strength and the Tiger Bloom at 1/2 strength max. Personally I like to use the Cha-Ching at the end...

Other way around, you can not burn with big bloom, but you can with tiger bloom. At this point I know it's not about burning but it is about backing off heavy ferts and tiger would be considered strong compared to big bloom.

Yea we're good man. Honestly, I don't even remember why I got upset with you(no need to remind me either lol) I like to troll hard, but some are more deserving than others... and you aren't one of the members that needs a good trolling.

You really are good for the community and you do help the new growers out a lot. I'm being serious and I don't have some kind of hidden agenda.

Truce.

Well, you would have to remind me what it is we argued over before I could remind you...I guess were all just little brats inside.

Thanks for the props...it means a lot. You have great knowledge and experience in growing and I am sure you have helped more than your fair share of newbies as well.

Now let's you and I sing Kumbaya and give this thread back to the OP.

I was only saying 2 weeks as a minimum because that would be the whole 60 day flower period witch is what my seeds specified was the flower period, now if it still looks like they need some more growing i definitely will let them grow till they are actually done.

Both Eddie and Riddle are correct. You still have at least 2 weeks left and there is no need to flush. You can feed lightly for the last week or water only, but don't flush.

Btw, your plant looks good so far:clap:
the only reason I did the flush is because I am using coco and i was told by many different sources that the coco core build up a lot of extra salt, which should be flushed out towards the end of the grow

That's what I have been hearing now is that I should be using nutrients right to the end of the grow. With that said I will be using the Big Bloom at 1/2 and Tiger Bloom 1/4 at reduce strengths like "Gary Goodson" said, every other feeding with just PH balanced water on the other feed.

Thanks again for all the comments

You're doing good man just keep her steady.

My mistake last grow (first one too) was cutting her early. See all those hairs? Most of them if not all will curl back and swell up the calxys (misspelled) . And the buds will get bigger!

I run coco without flushing it, I find as long as I give a good water to runoff and keep my ferts at a minimum there isn't any salt buildup, not even when I veg long before flip

nice first grow man.. like everyone else is saying you got more than 2 weeks and no need to flush. dont go by the time theyve been growing.. go by the trichs, get yourself a scope and youll get a much better idea when to pull em. good job so far. now it just comes down to your patience

I flush about a week or so before harvest there's plenty of food the roots will find in the root zone to eat that last week doesn't matter either way the plant will ripen and swell and ass weight flush or not always good to hear both sides I've flushed I've not flushed only difference is taste my opinion

Yeah I like the coco but the next grow that im going to do with a undercurrent 4 plant system in a 4x4x8 tent with a 1000w MH/HPS
