I used a small amount of yucca powder to help keep my humic acid in suspension also helps when mixing it down with water from powder as it takes awhile to the humic powder the dissolve in R/O when doing 2 lbs at a time .
bottled up 5 gals of humic yesterday

So was the Kona Sunset worth the time and effort? The plant itself looked great.
Yeah. It's just different. Very sativa like high. Pretty strong. Tasted like a Hawaiian fruit punch with grape over tones. Not that dense though. That was just a 5 gal. The buds were pretty big. The rosin seemed to hit me like some 2:1 cbd. Pretty numbing. I expect better in the 18 gal. If there's any pheno drift from seed to clone, it's usually for the better when that happens

Good Evening Hyroot,

I have been reading a lot here lately about NEEM not being good for human consumption? Whats your take on this?

On another note I've got an outdoor grow going on, up in here. I got a 7' Blue Magoo with some light green showing up down the center of my leaves mid way up all the way up to the bud sites. You my friend seem to be an excellent organic grower. This is an all organic outdoor grow & I just hit her with a high P organic slow release & some Mammoth P after seeing this, I'm starting to see a little improvement but little, (that just may be the slow release). Please take a look at the photo & give me your input. Maybe a Mag. Def.? She's about 1 wk. into flower btw.

I don't want to stomp on your thread, I just need a lil expert opinion.

Thank you in advance!

Phpatrick

Bro Hyroot continues to post outrageously mistaken info. There's nothing "stalking" about going to the persons thread and posting absolutely incorrect information. Trying to cover his paper ass with "well it's old" is lame. He posted recently about UV not affecting planet earth.

His posts are outrageous lunacy his politics are imbecile vomit.
Sure, but you already have a platform to say all of that outside of this subforum. Even @rollitup seems to enjoy the, um, spirited debate over there, but it doesn't really belong in the LED section.

I take your point yet this is "hyroot's garden" and i feel it's appropriate to push back where mistaken info is posted.

Here is another one from yesterday "I was talking about how plants use sugars and it raises brix levels".

If raising brix was as simple as adding molasses, brown sugar etc to media there wouldn't be a thriving industry of consultants working out mineral balances and soil biological concoctions. All of the geniuses touting molasses would be winning the cup.

Yeah I said it and it's true
Sadly he said both things. I hate when the politics section bleeds over into other subforums and brings in the stalkers.

Obviously the salt thing is incorrect, but also from 2014

No the salt thing is correct. Please tell me how organic living soil creates salt build up. (No bottled nutes).

The brix level part is correct too.. ever heard of high brix farming. Plants use sugars and minerals. That creates a higher brix levels. So with the sugars in the sst and minerals in the sst, ferments, and rock dusts. My brix levels are increased. And can be checked with a refractometer

I only use molasses in my ferments

Looks like early on set of magnesium deficiency. I've never consumed neem so I can't speak on it.

Over use of compost, worm castings etc will result in toxic salt buid up. Both of those are organic both of those are ofter high in K and Na.
You are clueless, frightening in your resolute ignorance. I am well versed in high brix gardening. I recall that you are the jack ass who stated high K is a high brix technique. Its not. Youre wrong.

Again adding sugar to your media DOES NOT raise brix. Continuous use of molasses is good for ant farming.

High Salinity (Salts) — High salinity may be the most frequent cause of compost problems. Plants obtain nutrients from soils in the form of dissolved salts, but too high of a concentration injures plant root.

How? You just make a blanket statement without anything to support it. I make my own castings btw. So the NPK in the castings depends on what the worms are fed. My worms gets fed organically grown papaya. Blueberries, Coconut, romaine lettuce, mangos, squash, avocados, kelp meal, crab shell meal, basalt rockdusts, egg shells, leaves and coffee grounds.

I never said high K is high brix farming. I never said where the sugars cone from. You're taking 2 different things and trying to mash them together so you can attack me.

There no such thing as over use of compost and castings. So your'e telling me all the natural native soil all over the world is filled with salts . You do know compost and castings are produced naturally in the wild without any interference from man. . If castings and compost caused salt build up. Not one body of water would be safe to be in . All water tables would not be safe..

You are so reaching.

Farms that get too much salt build up in their soil from chemical fertilizers have to do crop burns then compost the ash before they can replant again.
