Hello to all... Update time...
Start of week six of flower today... 2 more to go (more or less )
They reacted well to lower nute feedings and added sugars...
Today i will feed a stronger nute solution and no sugars at all...
instict tells me to give them just nutes cause noticed run-off smelling like Honey.. than maybe add some more after a two feedings

Flowers re-started to grow...although not a lot of bulking ...i was expecting a little more...
i am not dissatisfied... but i wanted the nugs a little bit bigger...
Barneys Blue-cheese on the left is doing better than Dinafem Cheese which has more frost to her but smaller nugs.

My previous grow... i also grew cheese and the flowers were much more similar to the blue-cheese of this round rather than being similar to the dinafem cheese.

But i am really excited to see how they will develop these last few weeks.

You can notice the difference in development and trichomes production..
I know they will grow some more... but i really don't know howmuch...They should put on some more weight and hopefully they bulk a little bit more.
I am curious to see if an increase in light intensity, now.. will make a difference, although i am running the COBs @ 34-35 w/sqf... i remember i have read that more than this doesn't necessary mean more and bigger buds....
Maybe next round i will run them harder than 300-320w and see how they do...or maybe i will change my m,ind and blast them to full power. i don't know yet...
I believe more than 1gpw is a realistic target for this grow and i was hoping for something around 1.4gpw.
I know this is only my second grow but i like to be optimistic....

Update...
Barneys Blue Cheese is bulking well...i am happy with this baby...
Dinafem Cheese is now throwing pistils like a bitch but not growing the flowers really...the buds look a little airy too which is something that makes me a little bit sad, it may be that she will finish later than the BlueCheese and maybe she has some more grow to do still...lets hope...
A more serious update coming soon...

Fantastic resin production. You can see clear as day how much they fattened up and got coated with resin.

Keep doing your current feed, they'll be done in like 2-3 weeks it looks. 3 weeks on the blue cheese for sure.

I have noticed tht the 3000k is bulking more then the 3500k but again the difference is minimal,nothing to blog about or complain about lol....Also i really appreciate the kind ,motivating words for quitting smoking...I was actually having a bad withdrawal when I was reading tht,and it helped alot...appreciate tht homie...much love and peace

Update here huys...
we are starting week 8 flower tomorrow...
Barneys BlueCheese-left is putting on a little more weight and so is Dinafems Cheese...although she is a little bit conservative in terms of growing Flowers...she has the better resin production of the two..

Feeding them for a few more days with a slightly lower nute mix and then slowly going down in terms of ppm until i flush for the last week with plain ph water.
Meanwhile a found a guest tonight when opened the tent.

They look awesome.

Hey my @dro-man80 , i am using 3500k yes. even though for the next rounds the light will be upgraded most probably. your run will help take a better decision.
It is doing a decent job anyway this setup...

it is just my second grow and i know i can do better though.

they do look good man...gonna be some tasters...Ya the 3500k is staying in my room..im gonna build some monos for tht side for the next run and take it from there..but from what im gathering from the net is tht the buds are super dense with the cobs..they sure look it in ur pics..so even if size is slightly off ,,tht denseness makes up for the yield im guessing..Ill know once harvest comes what i did..whether it was smart for me or not,,but dude I'm just talkin shit cuz i can kinda see ryt now what type of decision it was...I just don't wanna get too hype thinking bout yield results..but i have a feeling its gonna blow me away...Have u ever ran under HPS before bro??I never asked if this was ur "2nd"run ever,,or "2nd" run with the LEDs...Either way ur fucking rocking it man...Proud of ya bro...I don't think i had tht good off a harvest and grow my 2nd time..it was good but not like tht lol...be easy and much love and piece

This is my second run ever @dro-man80 ... i went straight with COBs no other light experience.
and yes i am really proud... especially when i get compliments from guys that have lot more experience than me...
My first run was not bad either...had some trouble but overcame them with help from RIU guys and ended up with 0.6-0.7 gpw

U thinking bout doing some different genetics next run?..I have a few recommendations for ya if u r..Wish u were closer to me and i would of gladly gifted u my best genetics...which took me years of pheno hunting..I barely run the 2 i have had for years due to the fact of a new pheno hunt lol..but hell thts the fun of the hobby aside from the medicinal aspect of it...trying new shit,,,whether it be Nutes,or medium,or lights,or whatever u know...How do u like harvesting ur meds..Do u like the more "couchlock" effect,or "sativa-ish"effect?...Personally i go for a nice blend of the 2 half amber half cloudy,,,but sometimes more cloudy...Glad things are working out again my man,take it easy

i would love to be closer to some of you guys but i'm afraid we will have to wait for the destiny to make our paths cross somewhere someday...until then, i will admire your genetics from a screen unfortunately.
I am open to ideas about different genetics, i choose on purpose some easy genetics the first rounds...so i get used slowly to the symptoms of a plant and to their reaction to feeding,over and underfeeding , over-underwatering and everything else from stretch to enviorment controll. but i would like to grow at least 1 sativa dominant strain next round...although maybe they will have to be both sativas since my space is what it is...
i personally like it just like you...balanced between the two...although maybe tending a little bit on the "sativa-ish" effect.

It was my first strain along side Acid by Paradise seeds. Blue cheese is still my all time favourite. I found it a really relaxing high and quite motivating. I hope you enjoy it. i will most probably enjoy it especially now i know it is an all time favorite of someone which really contributed to her doing so well + if it turns out like you are describing it ...i will love it... they are not finished yet anyway...still a week to go ... maybe ten days on Dinafem cheese on the right...

i am not feeding anymore N since a week now and stopped the flower booster also.... the Micro part of my GH Flora series is now @half strength and the Bloom also...still having a little bit high ppm runoff but i'm thinking to flush a lot this last week...
They are still throwing pistils...both of them but especially Dinafem Cheese on the right...

But i am monitoring the trichomes and most are clear...a lot are cloudy ...and just the minority are amber...
i think by harvest time Blue cheese will be a 50%-50% cloudy amber and the Dinafem cheese will tend more on the head high with most cloudy than amber which suits me reeeeally well

I will update again at harvest time but i will need some drying tips from you guys...
First run i dried branches separately and they dried in around 4-5 days, they actually overdried a little and lost best part of their smell...still very good to smoke but a proper dry and cure this time is my goal...
I was thinking to keep my tent @ around 60% RH with the fan blowing at the walls of the tent. i thought about hanging the whole plant...to let them dry slower??? what do you think???
Then slowly at around day 2-3 take of all the big fan leaves and wait another 4-5 days or whatever they require...
then dry trim them and into the jars for curing...
As always every advice is more than welcome.....
I learned a lot from everyone of you guys who contributed so...

Tht was a real nice run u had there..I would Highly Recommend Breeders Boutique for a upcoming grow of urs...Just awesome genetics hands down my favorite..been riding with them for years and always been more then satisfied...But there's so many bomb ass strains,there's no going wrong with what seems like a endless list of genetics on the market..Cant wait to hear ya smoke report if u gve one..hows the denseness of the buds?
Do u notice alot of frost..I know I can hands down say i have more frost with the Cobs then i did with HPS..Ask me why tht is,and i cant tell ya lol but it does...Anyways man ,,really happy for ya my man..harvest is the rewards of alot of hard work and dedication...always a outta this world feeling smoking and vibing off your own smoke..much love and peace my friend..I will def be there for the next grow..

Your drying plan sounds good to me..I wet trim and hate messing with it with it with the whole plant upside down..But tht does give u a slower cure I have found and really works quite well..so cant go wrong there...nice slow dry bout 10 days is perfect imo...My advice is dont wait till the buds are fully dry to start ur cure..I find the stem snapping a little to dry for curing of my liking..but damn near snapping is perfect for me..Also they sell those humidi-packs for cigars tht work really well also..Plenty of info on the packs online..I forgot the exact percentage pack but its on here some where...Im sure others will chime in for ya on the drying...but u seem to have the ryt information and idea..U have a green thumb my friend..good shit lol..much love and peace

I have done as you plan before but because I used to trim every 4 weeks I don't have the patience for it, so I go down the easier route. I also am not a traditionalist when I dry. I dry on nets in a separate cupboard with once pc fan moving air around. I keep them in there with the fan blowing indirectly for 5 days then turn off the fan for 2 more days and jar and burp them for a week to two. Not by any means the traditional way but my buds are clean tasting and burning. I am only telling you what I do, please follow your instinct and research to get the best out of your buds. I would never tell anybody to do it as I do because technically its not the "correct" way.

Looking forward to seeing some nug shots when your all finished.

to answer your questions... the buds on the blue cheese are hard...really dense... a little bit less on the cheese as you know following the thread but i am not disappointed, i think they will be quality smoke. i would definitely consider Breeders Boutique for my upcoming grow, i was thinking for a change.... but you will know for sure when it starts...
also they are more frosty they my previous grow... and Dinafem is just a lot more frosty than the blue cheese...
i will come up with a smoke report...i will do my best even though i suspect i might have some difficulty...ahahah

I was for the wet trim and simple dry myself but unfortunately my first run they dried a little bit to quickly and a little bit more than what they should... i cured them and they turned out a really enjoyable smoke but no smell... on ly when you opened a bud you could smell them....so i assumed that a slower dry and also a more careful approach regarding the moment i should put them in jars to start curing would be the right thing to do to have a very good all around medicine , from smell to flavour and all.


I have a question for you guys....
What do you think,,, if i cure the buds for just a week after drying them properly and then leave them sealed in their jars for a week (cause most probably i won't be home for a week) how could this affect the end product???

I put the light on 15h light of and 9h light on two days ago... i could not access my grow room freely for the couple of days until chop time, which i thought would have been this weekend... i saw the trichomes yesterday and surprisingly they were still clear and milky with a few amber on the Blue cheese which i thought would have been ready before the Dinafem cheese... which on the other side was sporting a lot amber trichs.... something like 20%clear-50%milky-30%amber....
i tried to get some pics of them and will upload later....
