You need to visit a mushroom growing site and get some info. I wouldn't even know where to begin to explain the process, but you need more than just a pot.

Is it really that hard to come by $200 to get everything you could possibly need to grow mushrooms. Compaired to growing weed, mushroom start up is 10 times cheaper. Plus, you should have a pressure cooker to cook food in any way so its a win win

But you need a pressure cooker bro it's a must

You could screw around with progressive sterilization or chemical pasteurization and maybe get somewhere, but why? And those methods are for sophisticated growers in the first place, those who can see contaminants in their minds eye, so your point is well made, a pressure cooker is as important to a my colorist as a pH meter is to a hydroponics guy.

I did cakes like twice and never again. it looks cool and all just don't get much. I use turkey trays now, in a 66qt tub with either a pond fogger or water at the bottom with a fish tank heater and bubbler. Works every time and I get 2 ounces a tray DRY!!

Next time you want to make real mashed potatos or white rice, pressure cooking is the way to go. It basically a super fast slow cooker. Anything thats good slow cooked is good pressure cooked such as pulled pork.
I do pretty good cooking rice in a pot with a cover pretty much the same with potatoes minus the cover I don't fuck with minute rice or instant potatoes. I have made pulled pork in a crock pot a few times too.
