Much bigger yeild naturally. Just my environment isnt 1000watter friendly if ya catch ma drift!!!
I have decked out a fridge but need to get some intake going down. Did a test run yesterday to check temps and after two hours with extraction fan going flat out i managed an internal temp of 60 celsius, so im thinkin 400watts will be more than enough! Bahaha...
Fridges = fuckin good insulators!
Might bolt up a 100mm computer fan as an inlet passage.
Also first time using a carbon filter... i believe its restricting my extraction fan hardcore! I have a 4 inch filter onto a 4 inch fan. The fan can handle up to 228cfm and the filter 183cfm i believe. Is this about right or did i fuck up in fan/filter combo?

Also got ma teo sour bubblins germing right now then into a 40% soil 30% coco and 30% perlite blend. 3 gallon pots maybe im thinkin cos of space!

You'll have smell leakage, if your fan is pulling/pushing more air than the filter can scrub. I forgot you were converting the fridge, I think you'll even have a hard time with the 400. I ran a 400 in my 80x80 tent, and was pushing 40c with that. I'd maybe look into a decent led with good heat dissipation. I forsee you getting big in those 3 gallons too!

Just found packaging for fan and filter. Filter is actually 200m3 and the fan on high speed is 198m3 or on low is 165m3 so I shouldn't have smell leakage as long as my intake fan is fitted to allow airflow... I think...

Or is the insulation in the fridge heating up quicker than the moving air can cool the internal area? Wanna get this sorted and stable...

Yeah man its gonna get hot in there fast...
can you take out the insulation? maybe cut an extra hole for cool air intake?

Did just that today. Added two 110mm holes and bolted computer fans over them, closed doors with everything going full steam and guess what, still hittin 65 celsius no issue! Removing all insulation isnt an option as it removes all structural integrity along with it.
Im putting up me trusty ol tent. May have small light leaks but odour and passive cooling will not be an issue and i can whack around 6 plants in 5 gallon potsin the 4x4!
At least i tried. Now i gotta take the fridge to the tip, and here in Australia they take photos of what you dump. Considering i got it there, may not be an option....

Hahaha. Well done for trying sir! I'm sure it can be done, but sounds a long term project. Forgot you were in Australia too, probably a touch warmer than England! How obvious is the damage to the fridge? Just make it look as if you butchered it for parts.

I'm a chef, and every place I've worked I've scoped out potential stealth cabs - chest freezers, pass through dishwashers, etc. Best one would have been an unused walk in freezer in an underground kitchen. About 3m x 3m, light and smell proof with its own air cooling and extraction system.

Good on you for actually giving it a go dude

Yeah mate the industrial walk in coolrooms would be pretty good.
I just couldnt beat the insulation sooo....

Tent is back up and another 4 seeds germing. Gonna start a thread once the seeds have germed and sprouted above soil level. Peace guys and to FarmerHatbeard, i will now leave your thread in peace! Cheers guys!!

Autos can deal with light leaks all day and they don't care!! part of the reason i chose to do autos is because we have frequent random power outages here. Photo plants would be a nightmare.

Right on in my neck of the woods.... Downunda!
I went silly today and germed 11 more auto seeds, as follows:
2 X critical auto from I dunno
2 X bubba kush auto from I dunno
2 X bubba yum auto by I dunno
2 X Mephisto Walter White
2 X Mephisto 24 carat
1 X auto so mango by I dunno

So 13 autos in different pot sizes will be fun in a 4 X 4 tent!
