I saw that heading your way bro. Got lucky here as the cold front went stationary before the rain could reach much below the Ohio River then lifted north back at you. Some places in southern Illinois and southeast Missouri got 10"+. I got a quarter inch or so overnight so I will not complain.
On a positive note, they're forecasting 70s here for last week in August/first week September and below average precipitation heading into September, a tad cooler where you live.
