yes that happens quite often. especially in cali for some reason. alot of big rigs put personal cameras up, most companies do this as well. also records distance speed g force etc etc. in the case of a car quickly entering your lane cutting you off and slamming brakes..your 80,000lb truck has no chance.. your lawyer can get you out with these devices



other than that a yes, your fault. Brake check, still your fault though he can get charged as well.
an unavoidable accident still goes on record

I've never had a ticket either. Not using turn signals is a known thing here.

In places that is a law, it shouldn't be. An ass hole, not too long ago, was backing up at a pretty fast speed in my lane. I have no idea what the driver was doing. I was going slower than speed limit, if I had been going speed limit I would've slammed into the guy.

Yes there are times that hitting someone in the rear can be the other guys fault without a doubt. But even where its not the law, and its word against word and you hit them in the rear than you will get it in the rear. Me when I drive I keep up with what cars are doing in the rear as well as the front and sides.

I have had 4 all speeding two were for over 100 mph What I found strange was 10 mph over cost the same as 40 mph over and by paying without going to court and not having a ticket for 6mo. after then calling them up they will remove it from your record. Where I am anyway.
