As with the extrajudicial assassinations of drug dealers in the Philippines, this kind of action weakens and destabilizes the rule of law and democracy. It's a line that cannot be crossed and we need to make that clear in our own legal and judicial systems. It comes down to what other branches of government will do to protect the Constitution when the executive branch goes out on its own.

Political assassinations during war times are not illegal under international law. And since the alleged victim was not a United States citizen, our laws do not apply.
The people in question were United States citizens in countries you most certainly did not declare war on. You haven't declared war on any countries you're fighting in outside Iraq and Afghanistan. If you don't understand why this is worrisome, you probably shouldn't have an opinion on anything.
