Right on... Talked to a few friends, they said we get more morning dew in the morning than its going to rain - still, I'm keeping them in the garage overnight w dehumidifier running and fans, get them right back out once rain subsides. I'd like to have a harvest gathering at my pad and throw a BBQ - Dont know you guys/gals yet... Rather meet at a cool camp spot towards the Gorge or at the Coast. I'm all in for Bud swap hahaMy forecast in not for a lot of rain, but I'm down in the valley... If they move easily - I vote for the garage. Definitely up for a bud swap...

I have 4 Oregon Diesels, 1 Obama Kush, 2 Blue Cheese, 1 Black Cherry Soda and 1 Super Skunk... What would be great is swaping good quality strains - I know how pressed most of are for space, lighting and security. However, to be able to call a friend and ask for a certain cut would be networking at its best

At the moment we have LSD, Gorilla Glue #4, Jillybean, Rugdawg (Rugburn OG x Chemdawg OG), Bruce Banner #3, and the best of all... a plant of unknown origin that we have grown before, that we call Mystery.
Here's a pic of Mystery from this afternoon... she's a frosty one.

Well, decided to play it safe and move my plants in the garage for a few days till this rain passes - green house for sure next season. I have a dehumidifier in the garage and I'll be adding a couple 600 watt HPS in there.

That's going to be an interesting dance you're doing with the weather, hopefully it stays mostly dry outside. I'm definitely interested to see how that goes.
While researching running a pair of inexpensive 600 HPS's in my garage, some electrically knowledgeable people told me that since I only have a single 20amp line running there, I should not run a pair of 600's and a dehumidifier at the same time, too much load. That's all over my head, but I'm passing it along, not sure what your situation is. You can always run the lights during the day and the dehumidifier at night.
Since I plan on fully finishing mine in the garage, I need as much light as possible. I'm still thinking about picking up one 600, but the rest of the light will be about 800w of COBs I have. I was going to put 3 girls inside but one grew too tall, so now its just two. Hopefully I'll be able to cover them with light, one way or another.
Nice garage by the way! LOL Mine is a 1920's single car garage that a previous owner divided into two spaces (approx. 1/3-2/3's), and carpeted the back larger portion of. It's got a huge amount of stuff stored in it, but I think I've cleared enough room in the clutter for the two plants. It's all a big experiment.

You can do stints of 65% humidity as long as it stays dry and have good circulation.

Yeah, it's not good. Got the dehumidifier running, 3 fans circulating in the room - and it's still 65%.... Might decide to chop in the morning, the last thing I want is Bud rott or mold - shit sucks. Hopefully it all works out

It's dry in there, but you can feel the humidity. Yes, going to get an electrician out here to up my indoor grow power.

First post here. Been looking for info on OD and found the best here.. so i figured I'd share mine. My grandfather surprised me with a text a few months back saying that wanted to grow a few plants this season (we're in the Willamette valley). He already had two Indigo Blues going (clones from a friend of mine), which are both still hanging, but he wanted 4. I picked up an Oregon diesel and a Trinity clone from Sweet Tree Farms late june/early july. They both only got about a ft tall. He doesn't smoke but said he wants to try edibles soon. This started because my buddy from high school (been growing for years) kept telling my grandfather how much money he could make. So now he's goin for 4 monster plants next season, more if on ommp. The IBs had a few caterpillars, Oregon Diesel had none. Looks and smells great.. sweet and pungent. Definitely wish we'd taken a few cuts off it. Hopefully the local dispensaries stock it again in May.

Anyone got any recommendations about whether/when to top or FIM this strain outdoors? Im hoping for height cause my timing if fubarred cause I started them super early. They are in 5 gal (best I could afford) buckets with drain holes, and so far most of my plants have been finished by the time they are about 5' high in previous years (different strains).

I’ve grown these for years. They don’t as a rule get too tall. Great producers for their size! I’d say the tallest Oregon Diesel plant I’ve grown is in the 6’ range.
I’ve got Mango Oregon Diesels going this year.

If you think she’s gonna get too tall you can always bend her to the north! Open her south facing side to the sun and watch those side branches go vertical
