I was experimenting with some bagseeds. I fimmed the first set of 5 bladed leafs. They grew out without any tips. Then the next set of leafs came out all twisted. They are still very small and another set of growth is already coming out and it looks like it may be more than 2 leafs. Did the fimming not take effect untill 2 leaf sets later? Also, does fimming slow the growth rate of the leafs that come after the ones you snipped? After fimming the growth exploded for a day, then it slowed greatly.

how many fingers thte leaf has has nothing to do with doing a fim. you simply cut 2/3 of the growth tip off. yes, topping/fimming will slow growth.

The only reason I mentioned the number of fingers on the leafs is to show the maturity of the plant. I clipped 2/3 of the growth, and I got.. well.. 2/3 of a leaf. or a leaf with no points. Then the next set came out as normal. Now the next set is coming in all crazy. Is that because a node is developing?
