V scrogging technique

So have desided to have my first go of scrog. I have bin looking into a v scrog. My reason firctgis was that a v offers more surface area than if i was using the screen flat and as i have 4 plants to scrog ive made a devide down the middle of my tent. Here is a picture of the net just fitted. Any advise well come. Many thanks in advance

nice I was going to say anything smaller than a 600 and you might as well have a flat scrog since the light would be so close anyway. it looks good man personally if it was me I would have the v at a slightly less acute angle so the sides aren't as steep but I have never actually done a v so I'm eager to see how this works out for you

The net was alot more steep. But i had to shorten it just looked wrong. I mite take you up on that advise. Im checking on the girls tomorrow so ill have a play about and see

Well ive been and checked on the girls. Ive loweres the net slighty from the top this time as last time i closed the angle from the bottom. Took some photos to share. Constructive criticism and conments welcome. Many thanks in advance

The plants at the top of the mesh will have more Auxin hormones than the part of the plant at the centre of the mesh.

Seems to me you will get less light footprint on your canopy if the canopy level sloped upward. Unless you have some sort of vertical lighting.

I've thought of trying a V or U screen. Just from my observations on a flat screen, under a single light, the edge of the screen has diminished light. Keeping the screen on an arc, equidistant from the bulb makes sense to keep light even across the canopy. I just wonder if it's worth it, you could go to a vertical bulb and go almost 360, minus access room, with a screen at that point.

I believe that would be something of a "stadium" setup. Loads of examples online.

Typically more efficient method of growing if you are using an omnidirectional light source.

I'm trying a few vert setups in my room, it happens to be a V right now..... the empty section will be filled with clones and a new setup soon

You don't actually need a scrog for that. Simply buckling up all pots that are placed to the inner outside wall of the tent for 20cm does the trick. Not only will the tops receive stronger light (actually, the whole plant will...) but the middle part of these plants will get lifted above the tops of the center plants and therefore will receive direct light instead of shady.
