Why do you newbs always grow auto's?

I don't know, yeah definitely bored. I'm a breeder getting ready to launch a seed company. My motto is no fems or autos. I don't care if they sell better. But from a breeders stand point I can only see one reason to sell them and that's for buyers to return to buy more seeds. Great business idea, but I believe in quality.

I'm not saying they are completely trash. But I just think they are a waste of time.
95% of your customers will be people who wants to buy Autos. There are very few serious growers with strict morals about how their weed is grown.

Have fun going bankrupt

while you speak of elite the only thing i see elite from you is an elite level of suck at trolling.
I bet your one of those auto-fanboys that thinks clones get less potent over time...
Why do my 20 year old clones still grow/smoke identical?

read the definition of trolling + come back with some useful information
Shouldn't you be in school now?

The douchebaggery prevalent both for and against auto-flower seeds is bested only by the COB lighting fangirls.

Auto-flower plants have the distinct luxury of having their own genetically engineered schedule. There's no worrying about lighting schedules, changing bulbs, wondering when to go from veg to flower mode...none of that.

They provide a regular, set routine that a good many people love.

That said, they're not my cup of tea. I prefer managing my plants a bit more and tweaking the grow as I go and trying out new things from time to time, so I use feminized seeds.

But that doesn't mean one is any better than the other. It's down to the preferences of the person doing the grow. How you people have beat this dead horse for 44 pages of full-blown lunacy is beyond me.

12/12 photoperiod from seed will produce same results, but better quality than auto-fem (if all other conditions are the same)
Save $ on electricity + with better bud in the end. No need to change bulbs or wondering when to go from veg>flower or worrying with light schedules.

I prefer having the ability to grow them as big as I want before flowering.
When you do find a killer auto that's worth keeping, what's the odds of finding that phenotype again?
I've grown a few packs of Auto's, and no 2 plants are the same(even in the same strain).

Why would I buy more auto-fem, when I couldn't even give the bud away?
Extract was decent, but not good investment if you have to extract the goodies for it to be worth smoking.

Low rosin returns too, 12-15% plant depending

i like that i can brainless anticipate an outdoor crop in spring with no vegging in a greenhouse. i mean if that does't make you want autos then idk what else would. to argue that space under artificial lighting is best one way or another is opinion since everyone grows different strains and with different methods. but outdoors autos can make alot of impact on a grower's stash. 2-3 ounces from one plant in 70 days is nothing to disregard. that's 5-8$ for an early harvest plus the cost of nothing else. i mean, make some fucking compost..

I love being a fangirl. I also love being right.

LEDs of various sorts will play a huge role in the future of all artificial lighting. I don't spend much time on the LED forum, but I do hate autos, and you apparently hate women. Have fun!

This is the dumbest shit I have read in at least a month. Congratulations.

nah, small atomic size suns will be the future of lighting. one atom balanced in a magnetic field while expelling energy. what is that fission?? im going with fission reactions floating above our plants in 100 years or less.

Nice one! As always, time scale defines the terms of a given argument. I meant in the next twenty years or so.

As I like to say:
The truth function accepts a variable; timestamp
Or:
The knowable truth of a given statement is necessarily dependent on the moment at which it was made.

Philosophy wonks would probably tear that apart, but it works for me.

I got to have money some how right.
Edit: plus I had the money at the time I took that picture. It represents the good times of when I had $30 from 3 differant times in history. Notice each bill is differant which is the actual reason for the pic.
ahh im dumb

Auto's don't yield for shit, I am growing two fast buds autos right now for a test grow and they are weak sauce, they are 1/10th the size of my photoperiod plants and I think that's being generous , I could have went 12/12 from seed on a photo and gotten more, very disappointed and I will never grow another auto after this .

Again, autos are more about speed and ease of grow, not max yield. Try to get 3 ounces out of any regular strain in two months and a week and change. That's what autos are all about.

Hell, my White Widows flower longer than the entire lifespan of most autos.

What auto strain is a 2 month strain? These seems to take 3-4 months and yield a lot less than a photo grown in the same area.
