is it a fermented extract tea? treat it like yogurt. 3-4 weeks is great, 4+ just keep smelling it for putrid scents. should be oj. for upwrards if 3-4 months in realityI've read about different ways of making it but I can't find the length of time it can be stored.
what was the purpose of the molasses then? normally, we use molasses in part with microbes. are you mixing the into your soil or just tryibg to feed the existing one? the K value of molasses is pretty skimp compared to it's volume. get a bottle if probiotic tablets from the grocerie or corner store, crush it up and stir into your extract, seal it up for one week. itll consume the molasses and make the K and trace elements of the tea more readily available. theyll be already part of a network of trading before they even make it into the soil. Thanks for your input, not fermented ... the tea is 16 banana peels, 8 table spoons unsulfured black strap molasses, 1 gal water boiled for 5 minutes.
Probiotic tablets huh? Never would have thought to use something like that, clever!what was the purpose of the molasses then? normally, we use molasses in part with microbes. are you mixing the into your soil or just tryibg to feed the existing one? the K value of molasses is pretty skimp compared to it's volume. get a bottle if probiotic tablets from the grocerie or corner store, crush it up and stir into your extract, seal it up for one week. itll consume the molasses and make the K and trace elements of the tea more readily available. theyll be already part of a network of trading before they even make it into the soil.
